- In this video, I share my experience cycling on what is considered the most dangerous road in Vietnam, the Ma Pi Leng Pass. The experience was the highlight of my entire bike trip through South East Asia. I can't recommend it enough.

Wow. Breathtaking! But a bit scary in those narrow roads with the ravine on one side. I felt the hardship with this video but you remained ecstatic the whole time. Safe travels!
Thank you so much!
Great video as always, thank you for sharing your amazing trip!
Thanks for watching!! 🙏
I felt exactly the same on Ma Pi Leng Pass like you. Got really emotional. But still feeling a little dizzy when I remember the view down to the left 😄.
Great video Luca, welcome to Vietnam. Bicycle thru Ha Giang Loop is amazing, glad you can do it. I admired to you.

I'm flying into Hanoi in November with a touring bike and planning to ride around a few months or so, I first want to get up to Ban Gioc waterfall and over to Ha Giang area afterwards, then probably into Laos.

Which drone did you bring? Did u require any permit? Any problems at the airport? Thanks!
Amazing! Any chance you can share the GPX for the route?
Thank you! It’s recorded on my Strava acc

Wow U chose such a hilly route.Go South to Da Nang better 😅
I passed by Da Nang, it’s beautiful
Wow such amazing ones, how many days it takes you to complete? You camp all the way? Sorry too many questions, like to know more in details...pray that I can do it too🙏
Thank you 🙏 The loop took me around 4 Days and ~300Km and I mostly slept with guest families. It’s a great way to get to know some locals etc
Respect brother. I did it on the back of a motor bike last year with a local Tay guy/ guide. Absolutely mind blowing scenery and the cultural experience with the local people and villages. I've been to Nepal 5 times and Sacred Valley Peru twice. I can speak reasonable Vietnamese so that enabled me to connect a bit more. Best experience ever. Would love to go back and do alot more homestays and hiking.
