The Addams family started as a comic that ran in a magazine called The New Yorker in 1938 and was then a t.v. series in the 1960's. This Gomez looks like the cartoon version from the 1930.
During the European religious wars, the "Pilgrims" were the first permanent settlers of what would become the United States. They were considered dissenters or Separatists of the Church of England. Of a stricter set of Protestant beliefs and practices, generations later were the group involved in the infamous (in the US) Salem, Massachusetts Witch Trials. Perfect villains for The Addams Family.
I watched the original '60s TV show. Most of this was filmed in Romania. There is a Jerico, VT, near Burlington, VT. I was born south of there in Middlebury, VT and lived between Middlebury & Burlington.
At the end of the 1st episode it would have been funny if it had the line, "No piranha were harmed in the making of this episode." I heard the Potayto, Potahto and Tomayto, Tomahto all my life. Origin - The idioms tomayto, tomahto and potayto, potahto are derived from the George and Ira Gershwin song, Let's Call the Whole Thing Off, written for the American film, Shall We Dance, released in 1937 - Googled.
Didn't knew about that 🤔 I had heard of the tomayto/tomahto but not the other, Lucy usually uses the word potato and I've always said to her "thats not a thing, its wrong!" had to eat my words there 😂
Except for the opening part where she is in the normie high school, you will notice that whenever she walks she rarely ever moves her arms. In combination with her hardly ever blinking, both of those signals her weirdness to viewers without coming right out and saying it.
Hey there, I'm always up to improve of course, can you give me a specific example so I can have a better idea of what you consider I didn't do very well?
There is no need to be rude... They might get money for their videos but that doesn't give YOU LICENSE to be rude... You could have actually said what you thought can be improved without the condescending tone

Had no idea it was that old! So, the Addams Family is almost 90 years old 😬
@@ptthatswhatshesaid Almost public domain. 😊
This Gomez is the closest to the original 1930s comic strip. Yes, the Addams Family is nearly 90 years old.
😯 we really didn't knew it was that old!

Tomato, Toe Matt Oh, Potato, Po Tatt oh, let's call the whole thing off.
THIS WAS FILMED IN ROMANIA!!!
Seems quite pretty! Would love to travel there (and to Bulgaria as well). They seem very green and fertile lands:)
I thought it was Bulgaria.
I just checked and it seems that most of it was indeed filmed in Romania (near Bucharest)
In many languages, Thing is called Little Hand or the like.
In our case (with portuguese subtitles) I have seen it called Coisa (=Thing) and Mãozinha (=Little Hand). It depends
Lucia/Wednesday ...... poe-tay-toe, poe-tah-toe.
Late to the party but these reactions are fire!
You will come to notice that Wednesday rarely ever blinks in the scenes that she is in.
Yeah, you're right, her all posture is quite flawless. Very good job by the actress 👌🏻

Yeah, we just notice that she doesn't seem quite right. But its the combination of all those little things. Subtle 😌

lobisomem? shouldn't that be lycasomem?
No idea! Tbh if we follow the most portuguese way to say it, it should be lobo-homem 😂

that was intended as humor
Great
The editing here is very very BAD, No context. It's like telling a joke and you start with the punchline. You get money for this. Do Better.
