I was having a sensitivity flare up where everything I put on my skin was stinging, burning, turning red and peeling. I tried a few things and my skin didn't like them, even fragrance free , made for sensitivite skin products. So I finally tried Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer and it didn't sting! It was calming, and has a soft and velvety texture. I thought it would be either be slippy or thick and balmy. But it was neither. It has a mid weight, comfortable texture that feels like a smoothing blanket over your skin. I can't say it's the most moisterizing Moisturizer i have ever used but it did what it said it would do. Calm and Restore and significantly reduced the redness. I originally bought the mini for $10 and went back for the full size for $18 and the serum. Aveeno has been hit and miss for me. The Calm and Restore serum and Moisturizer are fragrance free but their sensitive skin wipes DO have fragrance. So always read the ingredient list, even on products that say made doe sensitive skin.
This was super helpful! I’ve had my eye on the Sulwhasoo ginseng cream and Dr Ceuracle kombucha one for ages. I’ve been using my fave Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream for 2+ years now as I love the consistency BUT my pores look bigger when I use it at night. I think it’s time to switch it up. Thank you for all your hard work and advice as usual. You’re awesome Fel. The whole BW team are 💖
Finding a good one is tricky and knowing what to use based what's going on in your skin. I've finally found a good routine for now. Thanks for the review.
I got both the Sulwhasoo cream EX version ( the light one) and classic version, and just realized that the classic one contains retinol and the EX version doesn’t. The sales staff at the sulwhasoo counter never mentioned about the retinol, they told me both of them can be day and night cream… I think they should at least tell customer about the existence of retinol in the cream (even it’s not high in the ingredient list). I guess it is also the reason y you felt your skin got so clear after using it. Did you know about the retinol in the cream?
winter was soo drying with my combo skin so I combined Dr. Ceuracle and sealed it off with Paula's choise Omega cream - and omg how great that combo was! PC omega is too thick for me for summer, but for winter that combined with dr Ceuracle kombucha gel cream was brilliant.
I’m 22 years old just had my first baby 5 months ago and it’s winter time. My skin out of 22 years is barely just now starting to dry out so quickly. Thank you so so much for information in this video I believe getting into skincare is so important early on I never thought the day would come because I’ve been told all my life I look years younger then I am and I never liked it 😆I already purchased the Pure AM and excited to also buy superegg and Dr Ceuracle for my age I think those 3 are beneficial! Blessings sent your way beautiful 💗
aww thanks so much for sharing! and congrats! hehe. Yes our skin changes so much along with hormonal fluctuations, so I can completely understand how your skin gets really dry and dehydrated. Love that you got the Pure'am, I think you'll love it! Appreciate you
Also want to try Whind and kombucha. My go to for all seasons is the Black Rice Wonder moisturizer but I also use Purito Deep Sea & BucKthorne, and PYY Intensive repair for cold nights. I'm in the Bay Area so our weather is pretty temperate year round. I find I change up my toners and syrums seasonally more that moisturizers.
I love Dr Ceuracle Propolis cream and also their serum, and Sioris creams. I haven't used any of the other brands though, this is really helpful. I have dry skin and need lots of hydrating products
OooOOoo yesss, Dr Ceuracle is suuuuuch an excellent skincare brand! which of the sioris creams are you using? Have you tried the one with tamanu oil? Their night cream was my favorite for a long time. Your dry skin would honestly enjoy most of these ones mentioned, because Ro also really likes them hahha - Fel x
@@BeautyWithin It was the night lotion that I've tried and also the thick cream that you mentioned in their video. I liked the cream best, my dry skin loves creams to lotions :)

Hi Fel!! Thank you so much for the reply! I got the famacy Daily Greens Oil gel moisturizer. And I’m just disappointed with the way it worked on my skin. I have a combination skin and I expected this to be light weight. Especially since it’s summer, I’m looking for a moisturizer I can wear in the day time. I would like a moisturizer that will feel nutritious (whatever that is for my skin :D ) but nothing sticky to tacky. I previously tried the tatcha dewy skin which is amazing at night but not something I’d like to continue wearing. It’s very heavy on my face during the summer. As of right now though, I’m really considering the oat moisturizer from Krave.
Hiyaaaa Cynthia!! Ohh which products from Beauty of Joseon are you using rn?? I actually love the L'Occitane almond body range! It smells like a dreeeamm, love the moisturizer and shower oil, it's dreamy hehe. But I haven't used any of their facial products, and tend to stick to korean skincare brands typically hehe. Which moisturizer caught your eye in the video? hehe - Fel x
Would it be okay to use Dr Ceuracle before and after a retinol serum? Just wondering since it has niacinamide and its kombucha! Id love to buy it and try it out.
Hiii Yeoni!! The Dr Ceuracle is a gel cream, so it would be great to use after your serum! You can definitely use it after a retinol serum because the niacinamide and probiotics in the kombucha can help to rehydrate and strengthen the skin barrier :) Hope this helps - Fel xx
Oh I never know what creams to use so I’m soo glad this came out!! Just wondering - if u do use the sulwhasoo cream , what actives or what type of layers would u use? Like vit c or niacinamide or other like hydrating toners etc? If it’s so pricey, I don’t want to layer things under that are useless or not productive? :)
It shouldn't be a problem if you want to layer up since ginseng works well with any and every active (given that your skin can tolerate it)! But for the Sulwhasoo cream, a hydrating toner might do the trick! The Sulwhasoo cream already contains active ingredients like salicylic acid in the list and the saponins from Ginseng can deliver brightening properties similar to Vitamin C so it might be best for you to use the Sulwhasoo cream as is and allow it to work its magic. 😉
Hi Romy! Actually there were some issues with some of the international users trying the code, but it should all be fixed now! You can try it again and let us know if there's any other issues :) thanks for watchingggg hehhe - Fel
@@Tny.1 No, I meant, do we need to apply it more than once? Sorry, I’m new to the skin care game. I just don’t know if unlike sunscreen, moisturizers need reapplication or not. Thank you for your answer
@@nanuhuang6762 You usually don’t need to reapply like you do with sunscreen. Maybe to the odd dry patch, but reapplying is not usually needed if you have a good moisturizer that keeps you moisturized the entire day. If you have oily sensitive acne-prone skin like me, reapplying usually isn’t recommended, as it can break you out by over moisturizing.

Hi Cherryyy! Sounds like you have some dehydration going on the skin, and this could be because there's not enough water content. So you can amp up your toner or serum!
