Question: Why do you think mario eats Coins??
He doesn’t eat them, when he touches one it just goes through his body and can’t get out.

I've only played the game for like a day but I knew just about all of these, though the tips about the secret exits and paths were useful, thanks for such a thorough video!
I was kind of a bit bummed when I realized you can't spin jump off spikey enemies. It feels so fun to do in SMW. Wonder is still pretty fun though. I appreciate the difficulty of some of the courses.
Invisible walls at the end existed in the NSMB games too.
You need the wonder seeds from the shops to 100% the game!

Amazing completionist menu tips I was completely unaware of. I just made it to the islands thinking I 100%ed W1. I’ll have to go back and see if the seed is actually sparkling. I may still have stuff to do.

The "new" invisible wall above the flag has always been there, only in mario maker it wasnt there, also u were only able to spin jump on spiky enemies in mario maker aswell.
you could also spin jump on spikey enemies in super Mario world

@Arrowstotle thanks for this as I’m finally getting the game coming in from Amazon Prime the physical cartridge for my switch and this game seems so different from the standard 2D Super Mario title I am used to gameplay wise so this should really help

Fun fact: The sensor badge doesn't appear until World 5 so if you can't find something in a search party or whatever, skip that search party and wait until World 5

Fun fact, this extra spin badge is not better to get the top of the flag pole. It is better to use the grappling vine badge and press the button when you were in the range of the top good fun fact

The crouch high jump is the exact height needed to get the top of the flagpole if you jump off the small brick base.

I beat Mario wonder in about a week, I could have done it in a day but, I was busy that week, I don’t have the patience to 100% the whole game collecting everything, yeah I’m good.

1:51 you can actually get 999.9 wonder coins or whatever they're called cause you can collect the shard things (I didn't play it cause I can't buy it so I don't know the names of the things)

What does holding A and eating the power up do? I still don't understand that mechanic.
If you eat it before hitting a block you will get a better powerup. Instead of a mushroom you can get an elephant apple. Just a nice thing to remember so you always get the best powerups

It baffles me that some of the secrets in this game were hidden behind invisible blocks or false death pits with literally no indication whatsoever that there is something there. Like, it is established that jumping down a pit will kill you, and invisible blocks are literally just unfair and annoying to run into. Most of the game is really fun, but holy shit, some secrets are annoying as hell, as if you intentionally look for them, you will never find them.
Actually, death pits have a grey shade above them, so you can tell which pits contain secrets by if there isn't a shadow above it.
