    This felt the Endgame for the Guardians, a Finale and I love it, Rocket Racoons name drop, high evolutionary 's energy, Drax dancing and being Dad, Peter's whole arc with not losing anyone else. Fantastic trilogy ,I'm gonna miss it but Superman Legacy is gonna be great.

    I actually began tearing up several times during the movie. I had actual emotions that the movie made me feel. I was shocked, considering I don't normally cry at movies, didn't cry at endgame. But man, maybe it's because I like rocket so much and the guardians. But yea, this one's good. Go see it if you haven't. Even if you have to go kicking and screaming, see it.

    Recently learned Urah is the same actress who played Ratcatcher 2. I had no idea which says a lot about her impressive acting range.

    James was like “If this is going to be my last project, I’m gonna make it for me”. That’s why eagle-eyed Tokusatsu fans may have seen Drax doing a Rider Kick in that hallway scene. And that all of this, the whole franchise, was an excuse for him to make his own Footloose.

  • @ethankillion786
    @ethankillion786 Год назад +5

    Ultimately, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the weirdest, grimmest, most emotional entry in Gunn's MCU franchise, but it's also the strongest. As such, it's an absolute must-see for those who have followed these characters' stories over the past decade, as well as for casual Marvel fans. It's perhaps not the movie you may be expecting, but it's a largely satisfying ending for this particular iteration of the team - even if, in a franchise like the MCU where there's no real endpoint in sight, there isn't a sense of true finality. Still, it's a blockbuster that is perfectly suited to it’s time, and offers a much-needed win for the MCU. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the perfect ending to Gunn's MCU trilogy while still leaving the door open for more to come.

    Having finally seen guardians of the galaxy volume 3, I can say personally, the guardians of the galaxy movies are the best thing to come out of the MCU, these movies have been my favourites for a long time. Endgame topped that list, then no way home topped that, and once more Guardians of the galaxy 3 topped that. These movies make me laugh, make me cry, make me smile and genuinely make me love everything about these characters and their journey. All I can say about this movie is…I am groot

  • @anthonyhudak9363
    @anthonyhudak9363 Год назад +1

    I had a great time with the movie and i really enjoyed the High Evolutionary. There was one part that i wished happened but didn't and that would have been his Robocop esque face would get damaged and we would see a more comic accurate face but it's not really a big deal

  • @MCLegoboy
    @MCLegoboy Год назад +2

    I think I'm going to need to see this movie again because I am not as in love with this movie as everyone else. I think it's a little overstuffed with characters, and the High Evolutionary was never really present in the present, everything was all flashbacks, and so maybe I would have preferred there be a bit more interaction or at least him being one step ahead of the Guardians along their journey to kill him, I don't know. With all that said though, emotionally, everything hits. I teared up multiple times watching this, and I don't even think I shed a tear for Tony Stark in Endgame despite loving that character and the journey he went on over the course of 10 years, so this movie is really special for having characters really resonate and evoke such a reaction. The humor was also great and not overbearing or just flat out unfunny, everything works. So I'm sure that I will be rewatching it upon home release multiple times to really appreciate this film and work through whatever it is that's keeping me from saying that I love it like so many other people. At the current moment, Volume 2 is still my favorite of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, with Volume 3 following it, leaving that first one in last place. That one didn't really hit for me like everyone else either, but it provided the groundwork to make the sequels hit with me so much more by further fleshing out the characters to now make me shed tears in this big sendoff. And they're the most engaging characters in Infinity War and Endgame, too, so compound all of that and the super sweet Holiday Special and it really makes this movie super satisfying, there's just something I can't quite figure out, but that's future me's problem to sort out.

  • @23Gaunt
    @23Gaunt Год назад +1

    What's great about this movie are the blink and you"ll miss it jokes in the film that make it deserve a re watch. For example, in order to make the High Evolutionary appear more domineering when he is talking to the leader of the sovereign, his assistant puts down a box for him to stand on is just funny. Also the references to internet/meme culture with one of the photos on the wall of the bat family is similar to bad luck Brian was also great.

    I will not be watching this movie again soon. This movie is fantastic but I was emotionally wrecked. Story-wise I would have been sad, but the depictions of the animal torture went way beyond what we’ve seen in the MCU. I think what Nebula said was blunt but so accurate, he did go through worse than her. The fact that im crying just thinking about Rocket and Lyla hugging says so much about how good this movie was.

  • @chrisxx5583
    @chrisxx5583 Год назад +1

    I loved the movie (especially compared to recent MCU output).
    Unfortunately the guy making this is now going to their competitor 😀
    I think the tone was spot on and balanced light hearted scenes with more serious themes pretty well. Much better than how Thor Love & Thunder approached the cancer scenes.
    I think teasing the death of each team member at different times for a meta joke as everyone has been speculating for months which one dies. Although was a bit heavy handed with Peter’s “death” scene.
    Overall a great movie and easily my favourite MCU movie since Infinity War.

    Only issues i had were Gamora and Adam were underused/overlooked in some respects, the editing between soundtrack and score when it goes in or out of a song scene. Editing seemed alil janky maybe. Animal stuff was amazing and powerful and a little manipulative. Other than all that, was a 8.5 - 9 out of 10 for myself. One of the best complete trilogies.
    Oh and also the fake out deaths of Quill and Rocket were a touch undercut by their survival. I totally bought that they'd killed Quill in the vacuum of space. Would have been unforgettable, especially as he was going for the walkman which was sentimental af.

I love this movie but I feel like it's going to be an outlier because one director started this trilogy and he's leaving. From Hassan, I really connected with this movie because it's all early like 2000s songs stuff that I grew up listening to. And from Benny, anytime I try to bring up this movie I get like people like attacking me or just being like I hate this movie because it's a marvel movie or it's fine but this this this this this, and I'm like can we not just enjoy films anymore? Like “ppl r looking for things TO LIKE THE MOVIE”, “was it James Gunn that made the movie good or James Gunn getting more time?” U answered ur own question it’s James Gunn that made the movie good, and when Hassan brought up James Gunn getting more time and Benny saying “well disney could have put it out a year earlier” yeah hassan brought up the point to answer y he put it out when he did not what Disney COULD HAVE done bc they didn’t. Hassan brought up the that Disney had to to give him extra time to make amends and that’s what happened idk y Benny went on a tangent that added nothing to the conversation saying disney could have done something that they didn’t do. It didn’t even add to Hassan comment at all
