nah, after he left Clem all sympathy was out the door for me. it's ok to mess up sometimes, it makes the characters feel more human, but Ben messed up so much and never made up for the shit he did, then when he left Clem to pretty much die that's just too much

I think Kenny commits suicide in the ending after getting AJ and Clem to safety. In the other ending when he dies, he hints that he didn't really want to live anymore. Without Clem and AJ, he's all alone, he has no one left and after everything he's been through, he's probably going to end his life. He can die in peace because he thinks Clem and AJ are safe. The last two people who still mean something to him.
I believe that Clem and Lee are the best characters in the entire series. They shaped the walking dead series into a masterpiece. I'm so glad that Clem made it alive in the final season. Thanks for your thoughts, and for the tier list. #StillNotBitten

Sarah had so much potential but it was wasted, imagine if the choice where you teach her actually mattered. Like she would’ve lived till the final season if you only taught her how to use a gun. Idk if it’s a stretch.
Frrr, in the end Clem ends up alone and joins the new frontier. I think the choices didn’t really matter since season 2 switched its writers each episode. So a lot of opinions were present. Wasted potential honestly, would love to know what happened to bonnie, arvo, Mike and Christa.
I’m pretty sure ppl from Telltale at one point admitted that ppl in their own offices hated Sarah and that opinions of her were split like the internet too. Poor girl had no chance.
She clearly was doomed from the beginning. It would be highly unlikely and would betray the realism of the series if a character like that somehow survived in an apocalypse as long as Clementine did
@@villain7140 she acts a lot like clem did when she was younger, if she had the chance to live and learn from clem she absolutely could've survived alongside her
It also didn't help that she was very clearly autism-coded, but was written to be a burden and 'annoying'. 💀 It always put a bad taste in my mouth, ngl.
The final scene between David and Jaiver when you have to either promise your father or not is what got me for david. Choosing the pacifist dialogue on all options on that scene brought so much emotion, because no matter how much anger, hate and david kicking the shit out of Javier he is still saying "I love you" Trying his best to keep the promise he had to his dad back before the walkers.
Unpopular opinion: carver was actually a great leader. It really feels like they had to make him insanely unreasonable in order for the player to have a reason to dislike him and his community which isn’t realistic at all (he’d have been killed sooner by his own followers if that was the case) would 100% follow a more level headed carver in an apocalypse. Also Kenny is the 🐐 if you leave him at the end of season 2 it really shows how awesome of a character he is
@@GyutaroUpper6 exactly. That was the major problem I saw with him as a leader. Don’t force people to rejoin the group (which is what led to his downfall) and be more reasonable overall. The best example of this was with Sarah refusing to work. He should have at least given her a few days to settle in before losing his temper and taking it out on that one armed dude (forgot his name), but he definitely did give him plenty of chances considering he betrayed him. Without those problems (which I really think they added to stop the player from completely siding with him) he would have been exactly what is needed in an apocalypse. I didn’t even mind his way of distilling discipline since the world isn’t soft anymore and people need to adapt or die, or his view of raising a stronger next generation in order for humanity to survive
What’s funny is that when the group leaves Carver almost all of them die. Also they lead the Walkers to Howe’s which gets that whole community to fall apart and I’m sure many of those people were innocents so really if you think about it Kenny and Luke are assholes for thinking of that plan 😂
He'd be great if the people who were there actually wanted to be there. He was kidnapping people and forcing them into basically slave labor and tried to justify it because he gave them food and shelter, even though some of them was basically kidnapped from their homes where they already have those things.
Unpopular Opinion: Louis is a top 5 character for me. I really liked his laid back personality and in the walking dead. Those kinds of ppl don't come by often. He was a very interesting character and I always wanted to learn more abt him. 1: Clementine 2. Lee 3. Kenny 4. Luke 5. Louis 6. Javier 7. Aj
I really, really liked him too. I think it's important to have people like him around to have them lighten the mood a little with their stupid card games and jokes to keep everything from getting too serious. He was one of season 4's highlights.
My personal favorite is Clementine, and my least was Badger. You and I mostly agree on everything, but I liked Louis more than Violet. I feel like Louis was the relationship Clem needed to be in, due to his goofier and laid-back personality, which contrasted with Clem's personality very well. Idk, just I feel like Clem needed a little goofiness, more than Violet's seriousness. And the Piano scene, and Date scene with Louis was really cute.
i truly do think that if louis was less attractive, people would pick violet by a landslide. she actually helps around the community (apparently impossible for louis to do..) and doesnt try to get people killed. louis has lived in this apocalypse for a decade but i cant figure out how he survived day 1 lol. clem would never date a straight up child and i really do not see their chemistry. violet actually fits into BOTH the minerva storyline AND the tenn storyline wayyy better than louis does. when you pick violet, it leaves the story feeling much more complete. if you pick louis, it gives you much less incentive to care at all about minnie or tenn's storylines
@@Lemonincense clem would never date a straight up child and i really do not see their chemistry. violet actually fits into BOTH the minerva storyline AND the tenn storyline wayyy better than louis does. Actually Clem is a bigger fan of Louis then she is to Violet well you know about choices ha.
the first playthrough I ever saw was the violet route, and it's still the one I prefer to this day. especially because I think violet completes clem more in a romantic relationship than louis would because I think he completes her well in a platonic relationship. even though at one point louis asks clem if shes ever had a boyfriend, imo and how I personally saw their relationship (especially when you find out louis got his tongue cut out, depending on what you choose, and despite his initial disliking towards clem and aj) as more of a sibling relationship. the way they protect each other and act at the end of the last episode when they're sitting at the table gives me such sibling vibes. you could for sure say louis's route is more fun and cute, but I think violet is still a better match for clem, and they are both what each other needs. violet can still be just as soft and sweet as louis without being as energetic as him.
@Shyanna M Hey! It's cool! One of the greatest things about these games, is the conversation to be had because of the different choices. And you gave a solid reason for choosing Violet over Louis. I disagree, but I can see where you are coming from.

I absolutely agree with your list. Considering Lee was only alive for one season but he still gets S tier just makes me happy! It shows quality over quantity.
My biggest complaint with season 3 is that the writers killed/ended the scenario the player chooses in No Going Back in a flashback. I wish they could've used the first two episodes to play at Clem and explore with Wellington, Kenny, alone, or Jane so that the choice would've mattered. The New Frontier storyline could've easily fit in if they extended the season.
@@realestsienna You can find it in any cut content vid. But the OG reveal had Javier branded with the ANF logo. The story was him escaping them and still needing to go back to rescue everyone . The reveal images also showcase the slaughterhouse which was a major location for the first episode with Javi and Clem. It was all cut as it was believed to be "inauthentic to TWD"
Everytime I see Gabe, I just think, "the wrong child got killed". I know for a FACT season 3's story woulda been better off with Mariana. I really didn't give a shit about Gabe. 😂
I entirely agree with this. I was a little surprised and disappointed she was killed off so early, since she had potential to be a MUCH better character than Gabe
@@ninjaguy_232 I was surprised as well. killing Gabe (shit, even injuring him) woulda been the motivation for Mariana to grow up, adapt to the world around her, and wanting to protect her family! along with being a friend to Clementine! they could've been like sisters. the ship between Clem and Gabe woulda been MUCH MORE digestible if Mariana was still alive. 😤
Gabe was the right choice, because it showed just how similar to David he was. It put Gabe in a very tight spot because he had to either show loyalty to his dad, who he hasn't been with through his formative years, or his uncle, who has looked out for him during the apocalypse. Mariana's death was also a good catalyst for how cruel some of the New Frontier members were, and how unnecessary of an act it truly was. Mariana being such a kind-hearted character only made the act even more heinous.
I agree with most of your rankings! Though I think Nick, Pete and Tripp deserved to be higher. Nick to me always felt really sympathetic. He shot Matthew, yeah, but he had to put down his mom and had *just* lost his father figure that week. Kenny did a bunch of messed up stuff as a result of his grief, so Nick gets a pass in my book as well. His desire to be as motivated as Luke, his willingness to tell the truth about Matthew and the fact that he can basically sacrifice himself for Clem in the wine cellar makes him a great character in my mind. Morally questionable, but understandable and redeemable. Pete was just a really reasonable guy. He was the only one who respected Clem in the beginning (aside from Luke) and his last speech in episode 2 was really powerful imo. The depth they gave him with his rocky relationship with Nick was nice and added a lot to him. He was easily one of the best Season 2 characters imo. Tripp was difficult at times, true, but the dude lost his entire community. It's reasonable that he wouldn't be the most pleasant guy to be around. The fact that he's willing to repeatedly risk his life to help Javi despite him being the reason that Prescott fell is really admirable. He was also willing to forgive Javi choosing Ava (someone he barely knew) over him. He was just really nice despite being a bit of a jackass at times.
I agree with all of this. I admittedly never thought of Nick in that way before; you're right, he's definitely better than I gave him credit for. It's a shame that, after Episode 2, he basically never does anything that important ever again and sort of just fades into the background. :)
@@diogomarques9228 Ava to me always seemed like a weird character. We never really see her get fleshed out or get much screentime with her, so it's weird that the game pitted her and Tripp against each other. She got the short end of the stick at the end though with her hilariously rushed death.
And don't we forget. Javi can kill Conrad and Tripp can forgive him even that. Sorry but if I was Tripp. I would react the same way if some guy would kill my friend.
@@icywinx861 Yeah, the only issue I have with that is that he reacts that way regardless of whether you've told him already and explained your actions (to which he was distraught, but didn't get hostile). I felt if the writing was better it'd make more sense. :)
18:20 In the start of Season 2 when Clementine and Christa are confronted by the men in the woods, you are presented with two choices. Either to run away, or to try and help Christa. If you try and help Christa, you clearly see Christa being shot dead. If you try to run away, all you hear is a gunshot. She ded.
Did we play the same game? You don't SEE her being shot in ANY of the choices. You only hear a gunshot when you're running away and that gunshot supposedly doesn't even hit her(according to the original script, but it doesn't contradict the new one, so...).
11:00. Through conversations you can have with katjaa you can tell that she's struggling to adapt to living in a post apocalyptic world. She talks about not liking having a gun with her now, she's horrified if you tell her about Kenny killing Larry in the meat locker, the motel raid, carley/dougs death and then having to let duck get killed just pushes her over the edge. So I think it's likely that it was always gonna end bad for her even if duck was okay
I’m ngl I played all the choices and I rather Kenny died and leave Jane by herself. Kenny been through too much and it was his time. He was finna die regardless by walkers and it was best killing him.
I was in a 1% who made Conrad survive the entire season on my first try 😎 Also he can die in episode 2,3 and 4 or survive. He has 4 different fates. He's awesome. I love him
Conrad for me survived until I missed the QTE with the van lmao, literally one of like two QTEs I missed in the entire series and it's the one that doesn't make you respawn and instead just kills another character
We can all agree that there were lots of stupid death throughout the entire series but Kenny's death was literally one of the WORST death in fiction. IN FICTION. Total disrespect to the character. Destroying everything about him. Completely wasting his potential. The horror... It's coming back to me again.
Both the Kenny and the Jane endings in S3 were absolutely brutal. I consider the wellington ending to be canon for me because the other options are seriously messed up
I think Jane's death was pretty decent. She's all about survival of the fittest. The only reason AJ wasn't a problem to her was that there was a myriad of people taking care of him. A woman and a child taking care of two babies would've been a problem, and like she believed, well...To put it simply, the defenseless are better off dead.
Yea the part where he snaps back at Kenny is so amazing as he finally stood up for himself and says he’s been trying to help. Not everything has been his fault
personally i love the guy who kidnapped clementine's backstory like the car they found in s1 in the woods was his wife and daughters they were hungry and blamed him the tried to run away from them and they got killed by a walker the next morning and he found their bodies on the road
Louis is by far the best character in season 4 over Violet, if I am being honest. He actually is the one character in the season where you have to actively put in the effort to rebuild a relationship after when AJ kills Marlon Louis's best friend, and there is conflict tension between him and Clementine that you cannot avoid. The conflict and tension between him and Clem add to his arc and make Clem and Louis's romance feel more natural and believable. And with that conflict, tension makes Clem and Louis's love story more compelling than two people who agree with each other(Violet and Clem). Plus, if you choose to appeal to Louis during the Marlon Confrontation, he holds back because he has been afraid to go up against his best friend for years, like his brother over a girl, and you can tell Marlon is manipulating Louis to keep his head down. But when Louis chooses to defend Clementine over his best friend, Louis stands in front of the gun, so his best friend has the gun on him, and Louis goes in there unarmed to de-escalate the situation. And Clem's words of dialogue, "You let him shoot me really? Just so you don't have to be involved. I thought you were more than that" I think it got under Louis's skin a bit and a character shift for him to want to do more to defend the group. If you notice in episode 2, where Louis wanted to practice Archery before the big fight instead of going to board up the back hallway, it wasn't because he wanted to be lazy. He felt helpless during the confrontation with Marlon and Clementine, and he wants to play an active role in helping defend the group. So he tried to get into the practice of shooting at the raiders before they came and be a defender instead of a jokester. I think Clementine's words, "I thought you were more than that." had an impact on Louis and influenced Louis to be a more reliable character .
@@Lemonincense Clem and Louis have chemistry right off the bat, you see it in episode 1 when we are introduced to Louis as a character. In every scene when it is just Clem and Lou together, there is fire chemistry between the looks they give each other. You are actively trying not to see it. And Louis actually does grow and have much of a character arch than Violet. if you watch and pay attention to his speech and how he talks and moves past the "childish" ways, he reveals something more than what he actually puts up. The childish act is his defense mechanism, the same way Violet comes off as being cold and hardened. For example, in episode 1, if you choose to go hunting with him and Aasim instead of Violet, he will never think about the future and live in the present here and now. Now being with Clementine, that all changes when you get to the final episode, where he sees and looks at a future. In fact if you walk with him back to the school, he is the one who suggests wanting to build a dream house in the future. That is a big step for Louis to do from episode 1. And actually if you pick Louis, he actually would address that Violet's eyes are not infected and cares for Violet. Violet never mentions to Clem that Louis is doing ok when he gets his tongue cut off. In all honesty here, I think Minerva holds Violet back a lot. Even if you romance Clem with Vi, Vi will always side with Minnie. With having Violet have an ex girlfriend Vi will always be conflicted with being loyal to her ex lover or with her new love. WIth Vi it is always 1 step forward two steps back with her when Minnie is around. And it is clear that Vi is not over Minnie and there is still love in her heart for Minevra which spells trouble for Vi and Clem's relationship. And another thing, Vi and Clem do not challenge each other when one of them does something wrong, and no relationship in the world do you agree with each other 100% of the time and have some disagreements from time to time. It is not a real relationship then. Couples fight, and relationships always have some form of conflict in them. If a relationship has zero conflict, is isn't a real relationship and seems fake. With Violet it is a choice to have a conflict with her and Clem. With Louis it is fixed. No matter the outcome of your choice, you will have to deal with resolving a conflict between Clem and Lou. Romance or friendship, you will have a choice to rebuild that relationship with Louis.
Chuck, Christa and Omid are definitely deserving of the S tier for me. Jane deserves C for how badly they fucked up her character in that last episode. Kenny's pointless s3 death would forever live as the biggest grievance telltale did in any of their games, just imagine his interactions with Lilly in s4... In general I prefer any well written character I know the backstory of and actually care about positively or negatively over a character made to fill blank space and can be killed of to be replaced by another. Just don't make their actions suddenly out of characters, illogical or irrational and I'm good lol.
I have a feeling you didn’t play s4 that much lol. I came to appreciate all of the Ericson’s kids. But yeah there was unnecessary hate for the kids from a lot of people a few years back but it’s died down now which is good. Nice to see you actually rank them and not just label them as annoying
Thing is, later on in s2 - depending on dialogue choices - Kenny apologizes Clementine for how rude he was to her after Sarita's death. He acknowledges he was in the wrong and truly feels awful for it. So, kudos to Kenny for acknowledging when he was out of line and showing regret for it.
I honestly would've put Conrad farther because if you do somehow keep Conrad Alive then he is really a nice and forgiving guy later on and seems to be at peace in the end. :On a side note he is EXTREMELY hard to keep alive and I've seen multiple deaths for him in the past, telltale even did a Easter egg where if you kept him alive he thanks you for keeping him alive
Finally!!! Someone who agrees with me on Kenny being one of the best characters ever written in fiction. He’s so goddamn unique and his story is unlike anyone I’ve ever seen in the walking dead
I absolutely love how I just finished twd series few days ago and all of the sudden I’m seeing so many videos on it lmao i love how it’s still a relevant game people talk ab
Kenny doesn't really get reckless until after duck is bit, kenny the entirety of episode 2 and 3 wants to move on and ultimately he is right, in 2 it's sorta iffy whether he's right but in 3 it's dumb not to leave
I think it's just because it shows an interesting dynamic of how some people would actually act in the apocalypse... due to their parents pampering them and making them believe the world isn't bad leads them to have no chance at survival nor the desire to survive once they find out how bad the world is, I think it was done perfectly... though playing it makes you be annoyed with her
@@magnatemagic7391 I feel like there was a lot of potential for her character to grow. Maybe a way that Clem could teach her to survive in a similar way that Lee did for her. It would've been interesting character growth, and led to an interesting dynamic due to the age/maturity gap swinging in the opposite direction between them. I think that's the main thing that annoys me about Sarah's character.
This is interesting. I bromanced Kenny in Season 1 of Telltales TWD. What you said pretty much sumed up what happened to my favorite Florida man in the whole series, and Kenny does deserve an S rank for always being a family man.
Larry for A Tier! Remember in episode 5 when you explain to Christa that Kenny’s so jaded because his family was wiped out the day before? Well that’s the same with Larry when you meet him. Everyone thinks he’s an asshole, but you meet him at the lowest point in his life.

Kinda awkward how I remember most characters' names, except for S4's characters. They just didn't stick with me for some reason. I even remember S3 a lot better.
He's really funny. In episode 3, when you interrogate him about the flashlight and the chalkboard, and he just gives you a bunch of random facts. Reminds me of Eugene from the show. He doesn't really shine at all in 1 and 2.

When people complain about Kenny being the most human character in the series is funny it shows you lack comprehension skills of grief management not everyone handles it well. Imagine losing your wife and son and seeing friends die left and right….then years later struggling to survive and lead others just to lost someone else. Yea Kenny is justified for all his emotional baggage
Violet in the S tier. The only S4 character in the S tier. Great choice. She definitely has a timid personality and she doesn’t like new people sometimes until she gets used to them a few moments later, but she’s tough woman and has a good heart for Clem and AJ. But for my own ranking, I would put Carver in last place of the A tier, Violet between Carley and Luke, AJ behind Kenny, Larry in the C tier, and Kate first in the A tier.
I think it would've been best to have Katjaa kill herself in episode 4 after they're in the house, having both her and Kenny discover the kid upstairs that reminds Kenny of Duck. That scene hitting her just after they lost Duck in the episode before would've made more of an impact I think.
On my run Tripp was such a nice character, even though i've shot Conrad and picked him to die on the Andy scene he still helps the group, saves Javi life and ends up dying fighting
i loved Lily in season 1, i hate how they brought her back to be a villain in Season 4, which was kinda weird. she helped carry the group, she was female kenny, so if people like kenny i dont understand why they'd hate Lily. she was looking out for the group.
Old comment, but I agree! And people seem to forget that Lilly was really sweet to Clem, too. Like how she gave her hair ties for sleeping (which Clem still wears.)
I despise Jane but I think that kinda shows that she’s a good character. I think Telltale did a decent job with her since there was a fair amount of players who chose her over Kenny.
She taught Clem how to defend herself and how to disable walkers at the knees. Use less work with taking them out. She also taught the group about how to blend in with the walkers. She should be no lower than B idc
I wish they chose for the ending to be Luke vs Kenny instead of Jane vs Kenny. Jane is awful, just awful and thr only reason I can see ppl choosing her is because they wanted to see all the endings. Having to choose between Luke who was nothing by kind and caring towards Clem, and Kenny who both Clem and the player have grown attached to, would have probably had so many let's players pausing the game to choose
Alternative story: you don’t get a choice to save Sarah or not in the house with Luke and Jane, you’re forced to save her. Then, when you save her the second time when the deck of that civil war museum building falls and Sarah falls down with it to the walkers, just like in the normal game you get the choice to send Jane down there or not. If you don’t send her, the game plays out like it normally does. But if you do, Jane and Sarah both die. The death of Jane causes Luke to be all sad and shit so he’s sorta sulking and walking behind the group, like lagging behind. Because of this he will be further away from everyone on the ice and won’t fall through. And then the game plays out as it normally was accept instead of Jane vs Kenny it’s Luke vs Kenny. I think this solves the main 3 problems with season 2, which are the fact that a lot of your choices don’t matter, the fact that Luke’s death is kinda pointless, and the fact that Kenny or Jane as a choice is kinda a no brainer
also, the rsn why there was so much publicity on Lee killing his wifes affair partner… is bcuz it was a Georgia govenor. we love how twd series likes to demonize govenors and ppl of power lmao
It feels weird when I realise that in my playtrought: Alive: Clem, Aj, Javi, Kate, Gabe, Louis, Tenn and some other kids at the school Unknown: Kenny, Christa, Bonnie, Mike, the russian kid, and the people from 400 days Everyone else is dead. Clem saw so many allies dies in the series its not even funny. Im starting to think that the best way to survive is to never cross Clem's path
I wish they kept her in and had her come with the other seasons I saw a reimagined/au/thing that Lee lived and the person took Sarah and had a awesome idea with her
12:15 I think lilly *sort of* gets the beginnings of a redemption arc, but only in the ending where she kills James. If you let her live on the raft and choose certain dialogue, she seems actually pretty ashamed and guilty about what’s happened. I wish they developed this more. Lilly is a character that I didn’t even like in the first season tbh, but seeing her again was so interesting and I really wish that she’d have a different character arc by the end based off of your choices.

In the other ending when he dies, he hints that he didn't really want to live anymore.

Me when I'm trying to punch my opponent but they keep saying they love me (I'm regretting this)
David getting more pissed about it is satisfying too ngl 😂
Unpopular opinion: carver was actually a great leader. It really feels like they had to make him insanely unreasonable in order for the player to have a reason to dislike him and his community which isn’t realistic at all (he’d have been killed sooner by his own followers if that was the case) would 100% follow a more level headed carver in an apocalypse. Also Kenny is the 🐐 if you leave him at the end of season 2 it really shows how awesome of a character he is
He could have been, but when you decide to imprison people you make enemies, and in a world like TWD if you have too many enemies you die.
@@AHappyBlackGuy
That is false. They didn't actually lead the walkers to Howe's, the walkers were already on their way.
He'd be great if the people who were there actually wanted to be there. He was kidnapping people and forcing them into basically slave labor and tried to justify it because he gave them food and shelter, even though some of them was basically kidnapped from their homes where they already have those things.

@@Lemonincense I can respect that. We all have our reasons for making certain choices, and that's a solid reason.

He is the best character of the entire game. Always an S tier
My biggest complaint with season 3 is that the writers killed/ended the scenario the player chooses in No Going Back in a flashback. I wish they could've used the first two episodes to play at Clem and explore with Wellington, Kenny, alone, or Jane so that the choice would've mattered. The New Frontier storyline could've easily fit in if they extended the season.
the original plot was a lot more interesting than what they went with

I really didn't give a shit about Gabe. 😂
I entirely agree with this. I was a little surprised and disappointed she was killed off so early, since she had potential to be a MUCH better character than Gabe
@@ninjaguy_232 I was surprised as well.
killing Gabe (shit, even injuring him) woulda been the motivation for Mariana to grow up, adapt to the world around her, and wanting to protect her family! along with being a friend to Clementine! they could've been like sisters. the ship between Clem and Gabe woulda been MUCH MORE digestible if Mariana was still alive. 😤
Pudding
Gabe was the right choice, because it showed just how similar to David he was. It put Gabe in a very tight spot because he had to either show loyalty to his dad, who he hasn't been with through his formative years, or his uncle, who has looked out for him during the apocalypse. Mariana's death was also a good catalyst for how cruel some of the New Frontier members were, and how unnecessary of an act it truly was. Mariana being such a kind-hearted character only made the act even more heinous.
The best thing they coulda done is keep both alive and have gabe shot in the chest instead of kate
There is actually a fan comic about Kenny after Wellington ending, it called "He will remember that", check it out, maybe you'll like it
I agree with most of your rankings!
I choose Tripp just because he was very loyal to Javi, but i liked Ava a little more, but then they shot Tripp and Ava dies later anyways
I think the best and most canon ending for Kenny is saying goodbye to him at Wellington. He survives, that's the best ending for him.
18:20
In the start of Season 2 when Clementine and Christa are confronted by the men in the woods, you are presented with two choices. Either to run away, or to try and help Christa. If you try and help Christa, you clearly see Christa being shot dead. If you try to run away, all you hear is a gunshot.
She ded.
well on my playthrough i tried to help christa and clem still kept asking people if they'd seen her so ig we don't know for sure she died
If i remember correctly, telltale planned for christa return instead of lily.

A woman and a child taking care of two babies would've been a problem, and like she believed, well...To put it simply, the defenseless are better off dead.

personally i love the guy who kidnapped clementine's backstory like the car they found in s1 in the woods was his wife and daughters they were hungry and blamed him the tried to run away from them and they got killed by a walker the next morning and he found their bodies on the road
I think Clementine's words, "I thought you were more than that." had an impact on Louis and influenced Louis to be a more reliable character
.

15:00 don’t you dare come at my boy DOUG.
He’s alright character
LMAO nah
He's really funny. In episode 3, when you interrogate him about the flashlight and the chalkboard, and he just gives you a bunch of random facts. Reminds me of Eugene from the show. He doesn't really shine at all in 1 and 2.
Doug was a cool character. I always chose to save him instead of Carly. I thought it was hilarious when he saved Lee at the dairy farm with a laser pointer.
@@lautaroescarlon7501 Doug doesn’t shine in episode 2? He literally saves Duck’s life with a LASER POINTER. Come on! He also has that moment with the biscuits that all Doug lovers should remember.
Larry is an S tier for me just because every scene he's in is memorable af because of how well the voice actor is and the writing for him, you always know the guy is gonna say some crazy shit
How could you put Mariana at C she was so much sweeter and better than Gabe 😭
As I said in the video, I am not rating the characters on how good of a person they are, it's based on how entertaining/well written they are
And Mariana had a little role in episode 1 then She dies you don't really get to know her much
@@icrygreen9049 idk, she left a better impression than Gabe did. It was hard to like him but Mariana was pretty nice to talk to for her short time. Her impact on the other characters after her death too is,, dam
This is great. I wish people ranked characters from other telltale games too, like The Wolf Among Us or Minecraft: Story Mode.
I agree with A for Lilly. S1 Lilly was almost an S tier character if she doesn’t leave you behind no matter what, but S4 ruined her. Ignoring S4 A fits her well.
Jesus is criminally underrated I found him so interesting especially when saving Richmond him and his homies wiping out the muertos just with horses and swords
This is very welldone he explained it well too nice rankings I agree.
19:00 that guy was primarily in 400 days. He was with vermin’s group and ended up with Roman’s group in 400 days after Kenny’s boat ruined them.
I think Telltales mistake was killing off Lee and Kenny too early
Lee's death iş good the best of course but the Man like kenny dying in the car crash it is like a joke
@@LNRicky how’s Lee’s death good?
@@Kenny-ep2nf bcus he was the main character of season 1 and had an entire season dedicated to him, his death was like the end of an exhausting journey for him
To be honest Lee was fine. He died as a superhero. But Kenny?? Screw them. Seriously screw Telltale for that.
@@junilkwon fr bro they couldn’t have chose a worse death for him, he survives all the way and then just dies in a pathetic car crash!
Ben has his own category
I'd say that it is really good old Chuck that is the reason Clementine isn't dead or became like Sarah
I think it would've been best to have Katjaa kill herself in episode 4 after they're in the house, having both her and Kenny discover the kid upstairs that reminds Kenny of Duck. That scene hitting her just after they lost Duck in the episode before would've made more of an impact I think.
Jesus is S tier since it's Garrus voicing him
14:50 Fun Fact: Clem and Lees walkie talkie that Glenn took ended up helping Glenn save Rick when they first met!
If it wasn't for chuck clementine would probably be dead
On my run Tripp was such a nice character, even though i've shot Conrad and picked him to die on the Andy scene he still helps the group, saves Javi life and ends up dying fighting
Javier and Louis are S no question about it, don’t wanna hear it lol. At least Violet and Louis should be in the same tier
i loved Lily in season 1, i hate how they brought her back to be a villain in Season 4, which was kinda weird.
she helped carry the group, she was female kenny, so if people like kenny i dont understand why they'd hate Lily. she was looking out for the group.
Old comment, but I agree! And people seem to forget that Lilly was really sweet to Clem, too. Like how she gave her hair ties for sleeping (which Clem still wears.)
agreed, its such a weird change @@tsuumee4545
She's actually the opposite of Kenny in a lot of ways. Calling her female Kenny is disingenuous and sort of blind towards the character.
It may sound stupid but here’s a list of favorite playable/non-playable characters
1: Lee
2: Kenny
3:Luke
4:Javier
5:Clementine
It's not stupid (I actually agree but don't tell anyone😉tho Kenny and Lee are interchangeable for me, I can't pick between them)
Great top 5 bad order iykwim like clem should be higher imo
How can u not put A.j. at s bro is a boss only at 5-6 he caught 2 bodies-3 if u killed Tenn he is a straight menace
I think Jane and Omid should be higher
Jane isn't A tier at all
I despise Jane but I think that kinda shows that she’s a good character. I think Telltale did a decent job with her since there was a fair amount of players who chose her over Kenny.
@@lukefitton7329 Idk I think that it should've been Luke vs Kenny. That would've been a much more difficult choice
She taught Clem how to defend herself and how to disable walkers at the knees. Use less work with taking them out. She also taught the group about how to blend in with the walkers. She should be no lower than B idc
@@snnnaaaaaakeeeee4470 yeah I agree
Ben in a tier is crazy
Although Rebecca redeems herself the game forces you to bond with her even when you don’t want to 23:23
I wish they chose for the ending to be Luke vs Kenny instead of Jane vs Kenny.
Haven't finished yet but great video dan!
I think this solves the main 3 problems with season 2, which are the fact that a lot of your choices don’t matter, the fact that Luke’s death is kinda pointless, and the fact that Kenny or Jane as a choice is kinda a no brainer
clem kenny and lee are the most badass and the best trio
Kenny in every endings for season 2 hit me every time.
also, the rsn why there was so much publicity on Lee killing his wifes affair partner… is bcuz it was a Georgia govenor.
we love how twd series likes to demonize govenors and ppl of power lmao
I agree with everything except your season 4 character placements, once you started ranking them I was befuddled on how you ranked them
Kenny at the head of S tier??? I see no issue 😌
It feels weird when I realise that in my playtrought:
Alive: Clem, Aj, Javi, Kate, Gabe, Louis, Tenn and some other kids at the school
Unknown: Kenny, Christa, Bonnie, Mike, the russian kid, and the people from 400 days
Everyone else is dead. Clem saw so many allies dies in the series its not even funny. Im starting to think that the best way to survive is to never cross Clem's path
I like Seeing Sarah in B tier she was one of my favorites, wish they had done more with her.
I wish they kept her in and had her come with the other seasons I saw a reimagined/au/thing that Lee lived and the person took Sarah and had a awesome idea with her
12:15
I think lilly *sort of* gets the beginnings of a redemption arc, but only in the ending where she kills James.
You ranked Doug in C??? Poor Doug.
Duck was awesome. He was so funny and he also wanted to help Lee find out who was stealing meds in the first season
Biggest WTH moment is when you put Mark in the B category of characters... like... WHAT??? Every time I look at him in that category, I just wanna ask why? Lol
He was a character for one episode, maybe he was nice, but I guess same as Doug, he haven't even developed in later on, just had no much time to.
This guy pretty much said that Tripps was spitting Yapanese 😂
