1959 Mercury Monterey Convertible- An Introduction & Restoration Update

An introduction to my 1959 Mercury Monterey convertible. I previously uploaded some videos on the first start but I wanted to take an opportunity to introduce the whole car to new viewers and subscribers.
Obviously the restoration is not complete yet, but I will do my best to update as things progress.
Quick stats:
- 1959 Mercury Monterey Convertible
- One of 4426 built
- Built in June 1959 at the St. Louis Plant
- Originally all white with red and white interior and white top.
- Currently repainted in the factory Charcoal Gray option with Canton Red accent.
- Believed to have been sold new in Minneapolis and last on the road in Minnesota in 1968.
- Owned as part of a large collection until 2019; a true barn find.
- 383 MEL pushrod V8 with 3 speed automatic and 2.71 gearing in a Ford 9”.
