      I’m not a hairstylist but probably could have been in another life! BlondeMe has all the advertising in the world but I don’t think it’s the best bleach. I’m actually a fan of Wella and would love to try Framesi eventually as it actually keeps the integrity of the hair in tact. I’m looking forward to the next bleach installment. I generally use 20 volume for my hair and sometimes 30 if I decide to dye it a darker level beyond 5.

    The guy tang one surprises me tbh. I love that lightener a ton, but i def use a higher developer for lower levels depending on what service were doing. I use 1:2 because i dont like an overly thick consistency, and i like how what you see is what you get typically. Like lighteners with a super blue pigment are deceptive in the sense it can look light enough, but its not. I also like that it doesnt swell, so you can really saturate a foil without worrying about bleeding. Plus, the lavender smell doesnt hurt lol

    • @MirellaManelli
      @MirellaManelli  Месяц назад +3

      Thanks for watching! The reason why I mixed BlondeMe at a 1:2.5 is because that was manufacturers instructions. Most brands offer three ratios.
      1:1 or 1:2 or 1:3
      BlondeMe only offered 2 ways to mix. Either 1:1.5 or 1:2.5
      So I used the one closest to the mixing ratio that is most common 1:2 which in this case would be 1:2.5
      Hope this explanation helps.

    • @jusstube986
      @jusstube986 Месяц назад +1

      Just want to add that the Blondme mixing ratio is actually a ‘variable’ ratio. The recommended is 1:1.5-1:2.5, so 1:2 is included in the recommended mixing ratio but you can go up to 1:2.5! Hope that helps!

      Right? This batch didn’t get us there but if you had a favorite you can always adjust the developer 😃

    Am I the only weirdo who never takes the bagged powders out of the bags? Like, I’ll leave them
    In the bag in the container and just use a clip in there… no? Just me? Okay 🥹

    I love this type of videos but I feel that manufacturers instructions should of been followed, and also when we doing on scalp application scalps heat has a lot to do too… 🫤 I feel the results are not accurate 😔🫣🫣

      Where did I not follow manufactures instructions?
      You are right, heat plays a huge role in lift. This test gives you a general idea of the power without the heat.

      @@MirellaManellifor the goldwell silk lift. The ratio is 1:1.4. I know you did it the same across the board with 1:2 but I think following the recommended ratios would be more fair. I use silk lift strong and I love it!!
