One thing that I did for a transfer pump is I used a small plastic pump sprayer from Lowe's and cut off the tip and attached a piece of clear hose to it. Just pump it up then your ready to squeeze the triger and it flows easily into the transmission. Thanks for the video!

That looks like a pretty easy job, mine is way overdue at 150000 thousand, I think I'll do that fluid swap first, for shure and drive it a little this winter. I have driven 20000 on old fluid so I'll do it myself seeing my buddy don't want to. Thanks Bro! You're awesome.

Say man I got same year Cadillac CTs and Im pretty sure I need to change oil fluid and put new in transmission I watched video it looks easy but I just don't know if I'm comfortable to do it any solution

You have to feel good about it before you turn a wrench. Watch my Video again and maybe watch someone else's video. And put it all together in your mind. Maybe that will help. Again it's important that you are comfortable before you work on her.

I have a question, I hope you can help me. I have a 2003 3.2 CTS that doesn't go over 70 km/h. My mechanic suggests that I change the strainer and check the transmission, but is there anything else I can check?
@RV-in3oi That could be a number of things. As for you Transmission. Notice if it is shifting through all the gears. A clogged catalytic converter or spark plugs can cause this problem. If you have a Engine Light on. That will help to diagnostic the issue.
Is that T-45 oil plug marked “ Fill”???
Appreciate the information I have a 2007 Cadillac CTS with 16000 miles on it I had timing chain replaced oil pump replaced but on the information center it says my transmission fluid is at 10 percent and I paid 1900 for the car does that mean my transmission Fluid is low because it’s at 10% and it has the 2.8 v6 thanks
That percentage reading on the Dash is to help you to keep up on the maintenance. It do not tell you the Fluid level. It only tells you the Fluid Life. I prefer to go by the mileage in the operator manual. You may or may not know if the Transmission was ever serviced. Or if it was serviced, the Dash may not have been reset. If you have doubts. I would service the Transmission. At least that way you will know what you have.

There are two different pans for that transmission. Deep pan and shallow. I believe that filter is for the deep one. Great video.
