I love how during Autoscroll-like sections where you literally can't do anything to speed things up, like in most of the Bonecoaster level here, TASers just show off and do a bunch of crazy stunts that do absolutely nothing as far as making you faster goes but are just fun, silly, and cool. You could just sit in place and do nothing for most of the level besides jumping over the lava pits and jumping off early with momentum once a section ends and be just as fast, but all the stunts make it so much more enjoyable.
There's a NSMBU speedrun out there where the runner was playing the para-beetle stage (an autoscroller) and passed the time by ducking in time with the music.
POV: Mario prepared his inventory BEFORE the princess gets kidnapped and also takes ALL of the invincibility stars with him into the level like a smart person
My idea was if the player is struggling to finish a level that’s hard the game will allow the players give them the invincibility power BUT will not count as 1UP counts
That's what the white tanuki suit does in some other games, this game has "super guide" where if you lose too much you can hit the block and Luigi will do the level for you
