Dragon Quest is huge in Japan. It has a small following in the US as well, but nothing like in Japan.
Japan pretty much treats Dragon Quest like we treat Final Fantasy in the west.
You'd be blown away by the amount of retro game shops we have here. There a few in my area that sell hundreds and hundreds of both boxed and loose gameboy games, plus equally as much for N64, PS1, etc. Super Famicoms for 10$, mint N64s for 100$, etc. So much fun to browse
I wouldnt be mad if you showed more watches on the channel, particularly japanese watches like seiko and orient

I was pretty surprised when he didn't recognize Dragon Quest. Without even reading the box name, I pretty much knew it was a Dragon Quest game, and I only played DQ 11 and DQ builders 2. lol

@@noahnoah5454 they normally do, but Sendico is a proxy service so they don't have access to that info until the item arrives. They include a shipping calculator on the site for when the seller provides the weight tho
Somehow every 10 dollar order ends up being 50 by the time Sendico is done.
At first they charge you like $5 and then they keep charging you. My bro was charged $50 even tho there was no disclaimer

Fun fact about those Mario pins: They were a Platinum status reward from Club Nintendo back in 2011. I actually have a set myself I got from the program! At the time I gave some of the pins to my little sister, too.
Unfortunately she passed away some years ago. While my family was cleaning out her room some time after, they found the Blooper pin from the set and gave it to me. It was dented, but she still held onto it all these years. I put it on my favorite jacket to remember her by.

I like the clear gameboy versions. I have the Play it Loud and Pocket and I found a japanese clear color CIB locally in chicago for $80. Couldn't pass it up. Love your collection and I'm glad you got some sweet hauls today!

I know that it might not be at all Walmart’s, but at my Walmart they sell a 44 bit screw driver with the bits you need to fix a gameboy! It’s only 9.27 USD I think. Have Fun Repairing!
So basically, in order to kinda win in collecting, all I have to do is make a youtube channel, get sponsored and get sponsored boxes to my doorstep. The games at 12:11 are Dragon Warrior 1 and 2 on one cartridge, and Dragon Warrior 3. Many hours of my childhood were spent playing these games, which i luckily still have.

Elliot I'm a HUGE fan of Japanese watches from the 90s actually prefer the more less expensive flashy looking ones. I wear most days a Casio A168 a slightly better quality F81, with an elecrolumine feature. It is kind of beat up, but it's my Daly driver and I have a very physical job. What a Excellent find! I would totally watch a watch channel 😅😅
I didn't know the purple GBC was a rare console. I got one and i used to see them all around when i was younger.

12:11 These are Dragon Quest I + II and III, they were released overseas too, though they got their name changed to "Dragon Warrior" back then...
7:57 that's Dragon Quest Monsters, a spin-off from Dragon Quest where you can collect monsters and add them to your team. it was seen as a pokemon clone in the west so it didn't do too well here.

@Linux, the stuff in this video accumulated over time in the Sendico warehouse. Once it hit a certain size, he chose to have it sent. So it was several purchases over time, sent in one shipment.

I love ordering stuff from Japan! They always pack it like tis their most prized possession and they're moving country. They actually give a crap. Takes a while to get here, especially now with everything going on, but at I love ordering from Japan. Have yet to have a bad experience.
You should consider doing a series based around prices.

Elliot, the game with the partly blue box that has the wings on the logo is dragon warrior III, it’s somewhat rare but nothing really special.
Edit: it’s not Japanese exclusive.
