Elliot is the reason I found out about sendico. And then spent all my money 😅. I love being able to use yahoo auctions but, I've found after you add in all the fee's its not too much cheaper than ebay. I have yet to watch your other video, but it is sort of a pain in the butt to find exactly what you're looking for. Some basic japanese knowledge helps as far as typing out the katakana/hiragana for the names (or using google translate but making sure it translates the way you need it to) but some things are just different/ lost in translation, like consoles are called "main unit bodies" in translation. I spent a bunch of time trolling the site to find some good deals across gameboy, famicom, wonderswan and pc engine items. I spent about 100-110$ on a handful of famicom disk system games and a loose a/v famicom. I used to use some sellers on ebay (yamatokuclassic) and have them bundle packages for me. I remember getting some really decent deals, but this was about 4-5 years ago, and of course prices go up rather than down. Still a good video! Thanks Tito!
@@joeblusnavage5403 thank you Joe! That’s super interesting. I wish I was able to write Japanese but I also see how things can get lost in translation. I think there still some deals to be had, just a bit more difficult to come by. Cheers!
Great video, the lot seems kinda expensive for me, as in Spain those consoles are sold in good condition for 30-35usd, but now I'm already waiting for new videos from you so we can see what are you planning with them :) Keep it up man!
Thank you Retro Effect! I totally agree, it really wasn’t the best deal. But on the bright side, there will be plenty of mod videos to come for this lot, these consoles certainly need a lot of work, haha! Cheers my friend!
I am in the UK and remember reading EGM as a kid (which for some reason my local newsagent imported!), pouring over the adverts and lusting over the PC Engine GT. The absolute peak of cool gaming gear, then and now imo.
I couldn’t agree more with you cedarstuff! The 90s were an amazing time for gaming. I feel like a lot of companies were taking chances and experimenting a lot with new ideas. I also love how there were so many players in the gaming scene. I used to love EGM! I was never subscribed but I bought their magazine whenever I had the chance. Oh memories, haha! Cheers!

Be careful Tito that yahoo auction can be addictive😉 I got in introuble at home because i was going a bit wild with it😅. Nice pick ups man your gonna push me to buy a pc engine gt. Great video
Haha, I know! Very addictive indeed! I need to be careful. Do it dude! The PC Engine GT is such a unique handheld! The LCD screen actually looks pretty nice too for such an old console. Cheers buddy!
Cool congrats on the second pc engine. I know this is an old video. I like the formating of your chanel, If its possible could you do a tuto on how to restore finish , scratch and shine on retro console even if its not perfect. And can scratch be removed on digitizer ex:ninendo switch.
I’ve had really good luck with Saturns on eBay lately, bought a nice Japan Grey Saturn for the Fenrir ODE and it just happened to have the video card in it. I sold the video card and basically paid myself back for the Saturn. Then I ordered an untested US Saturn, worked great but with a dying laser. Replaced the CD drive with my leftover one from the Japanese unit, worked great. Sold it for a little profit and restored a Saturn for someone to enjoy in the process. Now I’ve got another one with a bad laser, and I’m gonna try to replace on my own. Lightning can indeed strike a few times!
That’s awesome Cody! Sounds like you made some awesome finds! Whoa, the video card is super rare, it’s for playing v-cds right? I’m a huge fan of the Saturn! One game I really want to play is deep fear! I have the Japanese version of the game but have been looking for the PAL version since it’s in English. Cheers buddy! Thank you for sharing your retro hunting experiences!

Hey Tito, I thought your cut of the unboxing with the craft knife was spot on. Great job man. Online auctions can be a crapshoot. I recently spent $70 after tax and shipping on a Green Play It Loud with Tetris. Which sounds like a ton of money right? But it's completely spotless. Not even a minor scratch on the screen. No corrosion at all. It's basically like they pulled it out of a sealed box and sent it to me. Unreal. You just don't know what exactly is going to be in that box. On another subject, I think it's really cool to see some occasional non-gameboy stuff on your channel. I had never seen one of those PC Engine GTs before. Very cool to see stuff like that. My brother had a Sega Game Gear and I'm hoping to see you do some mods on those at some point in the future. Recently I saw there is a screen replacement kit for them. Keep up the good work. Nice video. I just started at sendico but I’m being overbidded constantly by some automatically proxy bidders. Any ideas how to avoid those and win the auctions???
I definitely recommend going in with a budget in mind. You don’t want to spend more than you want. I recommend not bidding until the auction is very close to ending. Sendico/yahoo bidding is a bit different than eBay in that time gets added to the clock when you bid close to the end. It just comes down to waiting for the right auction. I was constantly getting outbid on pc engine LTs but finally got one. It took about a year. I don’t know if that was helpful but best of luck dude!
Hey Tito, very fun video, it feels like looking at lottery numbers popping up xD I feel you got a got pickup regardless, I guess you’ll spend more time on repairing them - which is part of the fun anyways.
Hey Tito!!! I don’t get the love for the PC engines but I never heard of them before. Maybe if I would have had one growing up or a friend did I’d be more into them.
I would love to put a modern lcd in it but unfortunately at the moment the only kit available requires significant modification to the shell. I hope that a new kit comes out that is reversible. Since these consoles are getting rather rare I want to keep them in mint condition. I will be making a video on the Pc Engine soon!! Cheers buddy!
I enjoyed the video, but the prices are beyond eBay/store. A working good condition GBC costs 35-40€ here on eBay and you can find one for 25€ if you search a little. Same for the other Game Boys. I would pay $15 for junk Game Boys inside a lot or $20 at most.
@@MachoNachoProductions On the bright side, now you have more Game Boys, which is great. Did you consider using another forwading service with a better Yen-Dollar rates? Seeing as your purchases get into the hundreds of dollars. I used From Japan once and it was okay.

I love unboxings! Sendico can get pretty addicting fast. I had to take a break from it, passing up on some pretty good auctions 😭. I just wish they had a different system that did not require you to deposit money ahead of time. Sometimes you dont win the only auction you had your eyes and you've already "pre-paid". I believe that is correct. You should only incur that fee once. You did the right thing! Consolidating as many things into one order is the best way to spread the all the fees over multiple items. Hope you got some great deals! Cheers buddy and happy New Years!
