It isnt suposed to take place in England. The English Sanctuary is in London headed by Declan Mcrae after Watson, who inherited it from magnus when she crossed to old city. This Sanctuary is implied to be in Canada. There are clues and hints that its in north america but not Mexico or the States.

I know this is just a show, but I was surprised at 6:07 when Henry and his new friend seemed to be getting the same type of meds (which seemed to be the case, since Henry had just arrived and it wasn't like they would've had vast amounts of time to adequately prescribe him something). Even though they're all haps, they'd still have different bodies, hormones, diets, and overall lifestyle habits... I dunno, that just seems crazy that everyone gets the same medication.
