Wow, I love how they're using things that are unexplained or unusual etc, like Jack the Ripper, Tesla, Jeckle and Hyde, and Watson lol amazingly awesome
Ho-ly- Crap. I know I have said this before, but Ian Tracey is a phenomenal actor. I couldn't picture a better Jekyll and Hyde. I read the book again a while ago and was totally picturing him though the whole thing ;) Woot!
Jekyll and Hyde omg it's a dream come true! Now that's a character I can love!! ^^ Or ur.. 'characters' .. character.. SPLIT PERSONALITY PERSON! :D Lol.
@sancgate101 Ashley's teleportation is a gene that she inherited from John. When the Cabal held her captive at the end of season 1, I saw that they basically "activated" the gene. She would still have it, like the longevity she inherited from Helen, but whether it would still be "active", that's up for grabs.
@sancgate101 I thought about the de-vamper, but it's not something they would want to use. It basically inhibits the Source blood. Somehow, it changed Tesla's ability, but so far he is referenced mortal now. For Ashley, yes it will de-vamp her, but it will also most likely take away her healing ability, her teleportation, and her longevity, plus others. I was thinking more about an injection, so she reverts back to only what she naturally inherited, like before the 4 blue serum injections.
2:57 - 3:00 I have the same question as well. I've been trying to figure it out. Somehow while underground, Worth heard about her father breaking into the avatar chamber. Why he decided to check that out, I don't know why. From that, he learned that Gregory sent a message to Helen (maybe all the activity in the avatar chamber is recorded?). I'm guessing from the symbol, he knew it meant "map" but how Adam knew that the two numbers (26 & 34 Helen's ages) related to two pieces, specifically a Praxian map and the hologram device, I have no clue (maybe he didn't?). How he also knew that that particular map needed a keystone, that is also located at a very specific place on Earth's surface, to access it and assumed that Helen did too is beyond me. Is this the only map on the surface ever made and or known about in Praxis to be on the surface? Then, Adam as a fugitive for some reason leaves unnoticed from Hollow Earth even though he doesn't want to (maybe he was about to be discovered and that was the only way to flee? I don't know how Praxis didn't notice any gates opening from him leaving, as they knew right away when Helen opened her old gateway). Adam then wants to get back into the city but can't, so he needs the map to find another entrance? From here he needs Helen's help and asks around on the surface, eventually leading him to the Sanctuary in Old City and to hear about Ashley's supposed demise. Adam then sends the two albino creatures with the brain spider bot and fail. Still needing the map, he sets up this rouse to entrap her. This is the best I could do, but it is an extreme amount of assumptions on my part.
@sancgate101 I also forgot, The Five were human first and were changed by the Source blood. If something happened to them, their DNA would revert back (Magnus talking with Telsa in 2x10). Ashley was born of Source blood abnormals, so she would have nothing to fall back on. If I expand my theory futher, it would "rip" out part of her DNA, untimately killing her. That would not be good.
@iJOKEx I think she meant that the idea behind them is unexplained. Like the Jack the Ripper cases were a mystery. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (case of a Doctor creating an alternative "ego" that was evil by creating a potion or poison of sorts) was just weird. I don't think she meant that their parts in the story are unexplained, but rather their parts in culture or history were weird and not of this world. (Just a round about guess).
@sancgate101 I really want her back, I loved seeing Ashley & Helen together. :) I'm happy about there being a season 4, though it's only 13 episodes so far. I like the mentions, for some shows completely ignore main characters after their gone, not paying any proper respects what-so-ever. There was sooooo much more storyline to Ashley that the writers seemed to have failed at seeing.
@sancgate101 Well, if they are going to bring Ashley back, they have to prelude to her somehow, she can't just show up out of nowhere. :) I've got my theories. We don't know if or when Ashley will come back, but the writers do know that we want to see her again. Personally, I like hearing them mention her, it shows that they haven't forgotten about her. It also might just be to placate us. Or they haven't said anything for they want it to be a surprise. ;)

Hey! Did anyone notice that Adam is played by the actor Ian Tracey who was in an X-Files episode, "The Walk" hehe he played a quadruple amputee!
Love this show!! =D

Hellen has the odd habit of thinking that he has killed his enemies just to saw them comming back... N

@PrimaryBufferPanel You're right. It's longevity. I think it must preserve her brain and, as a consequence, her memories and knowledge. =)

@darthkarr Magnus never dated Adam, he was just a colleague at Oxford that wanted to join The Five.
In the flashback, you can so tell its a green-screen.
@iJOKEx I cant seem to bring up what I said all that time ago lol so I can't explain what I was thinking :(
I know great show.
Why the bioterrorist getup?
Is that supposed to be an Irish accent *tut tuts*
