OMG! I´m such an addict of this show - watched it a couple years ago and I´m currently rewatching. Found out that I haven´t even seen some of season 4´s episodes, including this one! I am soo exited right now :D
I love how the heavily armed men shout 'Don't move!' then just stand there and watch as Will and Declan flee the scene. I love how Will does his shocked little jerk reaction a second AFTER the building explodes. I actually DO love how Kate turns up. Hurrah! She was WAY overdue for a return. If she disappears again I'll be MAD. HOPPING MAD.
The left guard stays put while the right guard runs to the police car (or past it?). The guards can be heard yelling off in the distance at them. Not sure if the right guard was trying to run after them, or use the radio on the car. He obviously can't drive the car towards Will and Declan as the blockade isn't moved out of the way.
Okay, last one, I promise. KATE AND GERRIS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still rooting for her to have an awesome cat-eyed baby. That would just WIN.
Weren't they still in England when they busted into the house? Why did the guys speaking sound Camerican? And d'awwwwwwww, Kate looks so small and cute in those bullet proof vests! xD This is a ridiculous amount of comments. The character limits have gotten smaller, I swear it. And Magnus would be good at those word games. :-)
During this entire part of the episode, Will, Kate, and Declan are in London. Oren (the takterran from Hollow Earth being interrogated) is being held at the London Sanctuary. When he doesn't cooperate, Declan uses facial recognition to find the local hide out. The UK team leaves the Sanctuary to infiltrate the London splinter-cell and finds everyone dead inside. They search the room and find the shipping document with Lisbon on it. The next morning, Kate and Will are seen talking, then return to Oren, telling him he's free to go and show him photos of his dead allies. Oren tells them they've been shipping detonators to Lisbon.
I'm getting a little bored of the whole abnormal vs humans thingy. Wouldn't the abnormals be just as intrigued with humans as humans are with them? Like when celebrities and whatnot go to remote African village and all the adorable children are like 'OMG THESE PEOPLE LOOK SO WEIRD! :D
The story arc from season 3 spilled over into season 4. Praxis was ruled by the Praxians (intellectual humans that fought vampires on the surface and retreated into Hollow Earth). Praxis for thousands of years was ruled by humans (like a giant ancient Roman version of the Sanctuary). Many of those abnormals in the Outlands felt too oppressed and wanted to overthrow the city and Ranna's leadership (hence Fallon releasing Adam Worth as their "champion"). Armies were amassed and invaded the surface (coordinated by Wahid). Some of the abnormals left Hollow Earth due to being told a lie (that it was for a peaceful future out from under Praxis rule) when it was really about conquering the surface. The rebel abnormals were tired of human control of everything. Caleb's plan was to infect humans with a derivative of source blood from Praxis to activate dormant abnomral DNA in humans, turning them into abnormals. This plan would have helped crumble current human power structure, making it easier for abnormals to live on and control the surface.
