- This is a Denmat Lumineer Sapphire UV Source mainly used in the dental industry for curing dental work epoxy's and ceramics. It emits a strong UV beam for pre-programmed bursts of light. That UV energy causes different material to harden/whiten.
This one stopped doing that and ended up having a bad resistor in the xenon driver's high voltage section. I suspect it was caused by a bad Anode connection at the ignitor board that caused pulsed stress on the part.
