Bloody fantastic. What a great job. Tastefully done. Just nitpicking, I don’t like the aftermarket sticker on the fairing, the original is so much better, but I understand you can’t get them. Very nice.

She looks absolutely incredible! I've owned a couple of 6r and 9r's. Kawasaki sure know how to make bikes. I've always wanted an 11. She's a beauty you've done a fantastic job 👌

Many thanks for your kind comment, Adam. Yeah, I’m really pleased how she turned out. Bit of a ‘diamond in a lump of coal’ this one, it was priced up when I bought it as needing some jobs doing, just needed someone to recognise the potential in there. At 28k miles it’s barely run-in really, so hopefully it’s been a good project. 👍👍

Yes she has turned out really well, looks like a brand-new bike. At 28,000 miles barely run in. Always work to do on older bikes but it's a pleasure working on them. Looking forward to see her on the road in the next episode ✌️

Thanks Chris, very much appreciated. I’m thinking about running a really detailed series of videos on my ZXR750H2 full restoration, which is next in-line to be done. I’d need to get some better lighting etc going on, I think, to make it work. Again though, very kind of you pass your comment on, much appreciated. 👍

You've done such a stunning job with this bike. I'd be happy to pay you to do any future servicing on it seeing as you know it inside out

You’re very kind. You’ll be good for another 4K miles, but drop me a DM when it’s due and I’m sure we can work something out. 👍👍

@@headrace4863 Brilliant - thanks mate. The weather being like it is, it'll take me about 3 years to do 4k miles 😂

Bit of a bargain, even taking into account the cost of the work I did on it. 👍

Whats it like on the wrists please fella?
Mine are starting to ache on my 600..
    Thinking of a 1100.. 😁

Good question… the ‘bars are further away from the seat so actually it’s marginally heavier on the wrists, I found. I’m 6’1” so fairly tall and still find it quite a reach. The span and position of the ‘bars is excellent however, and the tilt is also very comfortable. It’s a longer ‘bike than the 600 but actually feels slightly more compact. Leg position is however more roomy. I did 500 mile days on it with minimal comfort issues. Hope this helps. 👍
