Our brainworms are the same XD I can legit only watch youtube while I work/clean- I can't listen to music or watch tv or movies cuz I'll stop working. AAAAh! Every time I see an artist vlog it inspires me so much. I want to be an artist so bad! it's the only job I like doing. I have an art shop, but I haven't gotten orders yet because my following isn't big. I have been trying to make content on yt, instagram, and tiktok but it's very time consuming. I hope I don't sound negative! These art vlogs make me want to live that dream so bad and I'm so happy for anyone who's reached that.
i've come to the point that i can feel when you're gonna upload. Just like today, I was at work and I was bored out of my mind and I thought damn a vid from chey would really make me feel better right now. and there you are! Seriously your video's have become a thing that I sometimes crave, the peaceful and colorful feeling is just so nice and calming!

One of the reasons I love your vlogs and sketch videos is because they're perfect for that intentional distraction approach that I also use with ADHD :) it's just enough noise and color to be entertaining and peaceful at the same time

The entire bit about not listening to distracting stuff while working is so relevant to me. I can only listen to:
-lofi music that has very few words/audio clips
-if it is music with words, it has to be super murmur-y (like Grouper)
-the same 3 creepypastas over and over again lol (Goatman, Ben Drowned, Borrasca) (sometimes The Columns if I'm feelin' friSkY)
-only a podcast if I've heard it multiple, multiple times
I haven't been diagnosed yet but I've suspected I've had ADHD for most of my life and it's validating that my specific media-listening circles are something other creators rely on, too. I also just can't do homework unless I'm listening to music with zero words. We find what works and we get shit done.

Sometimes i watch your vids as background, or other artists (draw with me's are amazing for that)

Also WHAT A COOL SPONSER!! In terms of drawing guys outfits, have you considered picking up some fashion photography books? Especially street fashion. I come from a photography background so I tend to pick them up anyway, but they have been so helpful with sourcing outfits. I don't actually own this book, but I might recommend Men In This Town by Giuseppe Santamaria. I have the Women In This Town version, and it is such a good resource for outfits.

i definitely feel you re. listening to audiobooks while you work. i find it easiest to choose ones that are either in a contemporary setting so you’re not having to keep up with worldbuilding, orrr ones that you maybe already know the general storyline in case you zone out for a bit. right now at work i’m listening to Andy Serkis’ recordings of Lord of the Rings (which are simply incredible i super recommend!!) 🤍🤍 lots of love, hope you have/had a great time in sweden! 💙💛

OMG YES! I cannot for the life of me leave a video in the background cause I don't wanna miss a single thing, to the point that I have to go back to watch whatever I thought I missed. Music distracts me, and background noises too, so it gives me a lot of anxiety seeing people do that when I watch vlogs. I would love to see you organizing your desk please please, the messier the better LOL
