i started playing BG3 recently; i've been an actor/singer/performer for so long but never trailed into the world of DND but i SOOOO understand how you feel about it. i haven't participated in any campaigns yet outside of this game, but i think this is something i am going to *really* love. HEAVILY relate to this.
Your video is my escape from the massive knitting charts I’m trying to decipher for a test knit. Also you’ve made me want to get back into cooking after the holidays. I will definitely be making my own pie crust soon :3
I just so happened to be watching this while making a recipe from dessert person! (the pistachio pinwheels) I’ve always been afraid of pie crust. I really should give it a go
love that you're getting more into knitting! if you don't like magic loop definitely try traveler's loop! It's sort of a half of a magic loop and because my cords are super stiff I find that it helps with separation I sometimes get around those few stitches. Chiagoos have really nice flexible cords so if you have a size for the sweater then that'll make magic loop easier! They're also great for socks if you have any interest in that :)
i can't remember what plants you got, but winter is going to effect most house plants so they might seem a bit depressed and look scraggly for a while. definitely not a time to overwater or feed but maybe gently mist if you have dry air.
For double crust pies I like to cut the bottom dough portion slightly larger than the top to avoid the issue you had! Makes sense that the bottom crust must be larger than the top, since it’s got that whole cavity to cover :) Hope that helps!

As someone who has a lot of anxiety about not knowing if I will or will not do something (and basic things like whether or not I'll have the energy to go to the grocery store) I could never be an understudy 😂 'oh you have to perform in front of a crowd of people but you never know when or if it will happen?' Like some perpetually looming jumpscare? Even if it's something you love doing it sounds like a lot.
How on earth do you learn the lines for so many characters? I don't know if it's an ADHD thing or just my personal neutral wiring - but I'd struggle to confidently learn lines for one character never mind multiple roles. I say this as someone (and because of) with a decade of undergrad work and stuff lodged in my memory - I have such respect for actors!

My job doesnt let me do that kind of creative work atm, so it's very fulfilling. I've also been looking for a group to join but it's really hard to find, since none of my friends are really into it or available for that time commitment 🥲
