I know I've been away for AGES but I needed it to like. get my creative brain right, and also start adderall and therapy for my ADHD lol~
I hope you like this cozy little video -- not too much art stuff, mostly just focusing on our NEW CATTOOOO (say hello to nova/pepper! also known as nova pepper! :3) we're taking the introduction process between her and soph super super slow -- and we're v optimistic, but since they're both old ladies I wanna make sure to not rush and scare them :( they did meet face to face yesterday, with only a bit of hissing before we separated them again, but sophie was batting under the bedroom door this morning with her tail all fluffed up, so..we are gonna keep taking it REAL slow lol. I got two of those feliway diffusers, that I'm hoping might calm them down a bit~

This is the strangest complement- but the noises outside your apartment window sound the same as mine, and thus I find listening to it in the background so relaxing. I just feel cozy and like we're hanging out
as a former Seattle resident who now lives in noisier NYC, I appreciate the Seattle noise while watching this video as well.

Chey, if it's any help as a knitter that uses crafting as a way to de-stress - try to be aware of your body while crafting if you can. For many years I was tense without even realising it and it would hurt my hands after time. There's always the risk of some repetitive motion pains with knitting and crochet and rest is good. Usually as I'm starting up my knitting for the day I just mentally check in with the way my wrists feel and try to relax them. I have a couple of friends that it's helped their tense knitting with those tips. I love the little dollies and squares you've been making. Such lovely colours! ♥ Nice to see you back!

for connor (and chey): a great way to eat onions is to marinate them (sliced) in olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic for a few hours!! it takes away some of their sharpness and adds some sweet & sour flavors, an excellent snack or sandwich topping >:)

Omg, i’m doing the jackson galaxy cat introductions too with my new foster. My main cat boy is not amused 🙀 I’m finding it emotionally very taxing. The foster is so skinny and had been neglected, she needs meds and like those aggressive pets , just like pepper 😻😸💕

I just want to say, you're the first person who have described a phenomenon I experience - the "day is over at noon" thing. Do you also find that if you have a scheduled even at like say 5...somehow your whole day is about that and you get very little done unless you fight that weird mental block?
