Hyebin is definitely crush material. She was always my bias in the group, though she won me with that short hair she used to have and I do miss that look, though she's killing it with the long hair too. Seeing how hard she broke and cried when they picked up a win (they had won for I'm So Hot and Bboom Bboom before so it wasn't the first win ever, but you can tell this one really meant a lot) for this song hit me way harder than seeing a bias cry usually does. They've been through so much, their company has been abominable in the extreme, expected members (Taeha) leaving but then unexpected members (Yeonwoo) leaving, the company unwilling to confirm the Daisy situation, another (Nayun) unable to perform half the time because she lost her grandpa during the promotion period... and all the while they continue to get streams of hate from the community, both domestic and international, for no justifiable reason whatsoever.
Nancy has lost a bunch of weight and she still gets aired by crowds of knetz, though it seems she does get at least some cheers now compared to last year when the crowd would literally go from cheering and clapping when JooE was in the centre to dead silent as soon as Nancy stepped in. So many international fans still believe the whole 'they're disrespectful/they disrespected BTS' bullshit despite all the proof out there debunking it - barely a fraction of the people who bought into that crap to begin with followed up and watched the debunk, most probably still don't even know it exists, so they still hold their initial poisoned opinion to be the case. At least there's the Filipino Merries out doing work and showing love; they're probably the main reason the group still exists.
Every MV/clip on their channel, every channel that promotes them on a show or something, every live stage gets a way higher percentage of dislikes, and it's not hard to find abusive comments with hundreds of upvotes. I think some fan groups are actively disliking/upvoting toxic comments en masse, like, deliberately going to Momoland content just to dislike it etc. And through all of that, it means not enough attention gets paid to what was a really neat, catchy song with a super fun and unique concept. People really didn't learn anything from last year. Fuckin sucks.
I agree! Also Momoland gets sued for “copying other songs” and people take it out on the members instead of the producers smh

Momoland bring fun back into kpop amongst swarms of girl crush or hardcore bg’s, they remind me of 2nd gen and I love their comebacks. Yes their member line ups have changed but all we can do is support the remaining girls!

Meh, only insofar as they're in the same time/similar instrumentation falling on the same counts. Stresses are different in Hip. But a lot of beats in this time signature with these kinds of synths will sound alike at times.
