I think people mentioned the "pencil board" can be used inside the clear cover as a cover 😉 I will laminate mine and use it as a pencil board 😊 Loving how you explain everything so well! Thank you ❤
Hi Christina. I almost never comment on RUclips videos, but I discovered your channel today via this video and felt compelled to leave a comment. I proceeded to binge watch all of your videos (thankfully not too many lol) and really like how relatable and practical you are. I can relate to the desire for planner perfection, analysis paralysis, hoarding, etc. Thanks for sharing!
@@hannahfyed thank you so much for watching and the feedback! Comments like this really make my day 💕 I knew I wasn’t alone with the analysis paralysis! 🤣
I have loved B6 Slim for a long time and I am excited to have a planner in this size. I picked up the Misty Blue. I am excited to have the planning capacity and notebook all in one. I don’t yet know exactly how I will use it. I am trying a couple ideas out in a plan notebook first. I started this week. It should give me a little while to figure out how I really want to use those weekly pages.
I have been using the B6 size since the first year when it was the only option and have the muscle memory for it so I'm sticking with it. Im trying to figure out whether I want to use the horizontal or vertical layout though, so I'm recreating the vertical spreads in the back. I have a B6 Wonderland 222 to track stuff for work, and am going to use either the SI pocket weeklies or an A6 day free for my workouts next year. I'm currently using the Day Free but I have a hard time keeping up with it
Other companies do offer gilded edges, often the "boutique" sellers like Sterling Ink, and it does cost more, but only a couple dollar at most. I usually don't get the gilded edges for two reasons. 1, I don't like gold. 2, if it's not done right it can get all over the place. The Sterling Ink gilding is done very well and I haven't seen any issues with it rubbing off on the one gilded planner I bought 2 years ago. But I still don't like gold. I have the B6 slim in the slate blue kind of color (mist?) with white edges and I really like it.
O I didn’t know that the gold comes off sometimes for other planners! That’s good to know sterling ink does it pretty well then. And yes I wanted the b6 slim in mist too but I like the gold and it was sold out for me 🤣
Thank you for your review. After using Hobonichi weeks and cousin I want to try Sterling ink N2 H and B6H (regular, not slim.). The latter is currently sold out. So I am waiting for a restock to grab these for my 2025 planners. For the first time, I would like to use the “weeks” for everything and the B6 for Bible study. 😊
I wanted to b6 slim horizontal in compact bc I loved that mist color and I didn’t think I’d need so many back pages in the full year.. but.. the gilded edges of mist were sold out 😅. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am! Really love this planner 💕
I just purchased this one as well. I'm planning to use it for work. I also have an A5 wonderland222 that I use for work, this will further segment the things I do at my job that I want to keep separate from the A5 I normally work in. I'm very curious to see how I work with the horizontal weekly section.
I thought it was such a unique size but I'm so glad to hear others are using it too! let me know how you end up using it, so curious what others do haha
Thanks for sharing! I keep looking at these . . . well . . . I keep looking at the Hobo Weeks, and I want to want one, but I just don't think I'd end up using it. My brain works vertically. And I'm really bad at making use of blank pages. Like I said about Passion Planner the other day, I don't like too many prompts and I end up covering those pages with photos or something. But I need SOMEthing . . . a date or something already printed to get me going. I hope you share your progress on this one. I'd love to see how it goes for you. Maybe I'll end up wanting one after I see yours in use. Cuz I need to buy yet another planner. :/
Agree! I generally think vertically too but i have a hemlock and oak coming for basic time blocking. If horizontal doesn’t work for you, have you looked at sterling inks other vertical layouts? She has so many 🤗
It took time to get adjusted in my experience and I loved it, but after a two years using hobonichi and sterling ink planners I’m ready to go back to thicker paper. I have so many different types of pens and I want to be able to use the pens but the thinner paper isn’t always able to handle those without smudging or bleeding through.
I completely understand this issue! I love thicker paper for weekly set up but love thinner paper for journaling. I decided to stop forcing myself into one planner and just split it bc of this. I won’t stick to planning /journaling if I don’t enjoy the process 😅
@Rosyrespark Hello! Paper Tess Designs has a GORGEOUS planner with Rose Gold Gilded pages….ill be using that for 2025, last year I also used a PTD and loved the Horizontal layout being able to add my own Vertical Layout on the 2 blank pages just before it each month. And this year my SI in Mist (I also love the pebbled look) with gold gilded edges for my Finance/Budget Planner; my Mercari Inventory, Ministry Funds & Package Tracking and Personal making some of my own spreads in the back for somethings. Enjoy!!!! 💕
O I’ve never heard of paper Tess designs! I will check them out. I wanted the mist in compact horizontal as my first choice but they sold Out of gilded edges too fast 😅 I’m jealous! I wasn’t sure if I could fill out so many daily pages in the back of the full year but here we are with the onyx in full year haha
@Rosyrespark Oh yes let me know what you think of the Paper Tess one… And I also got Sterling Ink a5 Compact year in Linen with gold edges, that’s gorgeous! I’m using that for a health Journal…but going to figure out somehow to make it a multi-year book…either by creating more boxes at the bottom for the monthly, and or using it like a quarter book (can explain more if you’d like) or by splitting the days of the month into smaller boxes and cycling though come the next year leaving each Month for its own month…we’ll see!!
I think people mentioned the "pencil board" can be used inside the clear cover as a cover 😉 I will laminate mine and use it as a pencil board 😊 Loving how you explain everything so well! Thank you ❤
Thank you! Oo yes that would be a really great alternative to using vellum as a cover too! I love that idea ❤

Love her art work. And now her planners. Hope her business flourishes.
Me too! I haven't been able to pull the trigger on her stickers yet, but I know it's inevitable haha
Thank you for this! I keep going back and forth between this one and Papertess Weekly.
Thank you! ❤ The analysis paralysis I had the whole month of August trying to decide for 2025 😅 only fellow planners will understand 🤭
Def sterling ink!

I wanted the compact horizontal in mist blue! But the gilded edges were sold out so I opted for onyx in full year. I just adore that blue color ❤
super cute! I love the space for reflection and tracking.
I know me too!

The b6 was my original choice but I couldn’t wait and got the b6 slim during the first release 😂

I have bought a papertess B6 and started to use it already. Couldn't wait either for January 😅

Mulberry is not pebbled. It’s smooth matte PU leather
Thank you for confirming! I don’t have regrets then haha I love mulberry but I love pebbled just a little more 😂
@@Rosyrespark also B6S wasn't available in mulberry, otherwise I would have been all over that ☺️
I'm still waffling on buying the A5. I've been doing bujo for years with thick paper so I'm not sure if I'll like the thinner paper.

No, mulberry isnt pebbled. Its very smooth!
Phew! I love that color but love the pebbled just a little more
mulberry a5 planner does not have the pebbled look!
Thank you! Love the color but I needed the pebbled look for my first one! 😂
The mulberry is definitely NOT pebbled it is a smooth texture
Thank you for letting me know! I love the mulberry color but the pebbled texture has my heart 💕
@@Rosyrespark me too I unfortunately got the mulberry as my N1 but it will be in a cover so it will be fine
