    I remember when I came down in November 2000 when they constructing Secaucus Junction Station, WOW 😮!!! Great Footage & I come this way 2 times a year on vacation, can’t beat the East Coast for trains 🚂 !!!

    Can anyone give me more info about that Septa AEM7 leading comets past Rahway? I thought they only went as far as Trenton from Philly!

      Nevermind! Asked and answered by the engineer in the video. "See that septa consist? Amtrak's borrowing it I guess, you know how they borrow the MARC equipment sometimes? Yeah they got a Septa train today"

    Was this filmed from the cab of an AEM-7 Loco, or the front window of a Silverliner? This was almost 30 years ago. Are you still a train operator?

      Arrow III. They could still run down to Long Branch before NJT changed the voltage. I forget if South Amboy or Matawan is as far as they can go now.

      Judging by the date in late November, probably an Amtrak Thanksgiving weekend extra with borrowed equipment.
