Harris County judge sets $1 bond to habitual offender

  • On this segment of Breaking Bond, a judge granted a $1 bond to a 47-year-old habitual offender charged with violent crimes. This is the second time in 15 months we've found a judge circumventing the law. FOX 26's Randy Wallace has more details in Breaking Bond.

      You don't know which party this judge supports or belongs to.
      You also don't know if a Democrat or a Republican wrote the law that created this problem. All you know is what you've been taught... blame Democrats. Even though Texas is ruled by republicans at almost every level.. blame the democrats.

    I just wish I could tell the disgusting Houston judges that play softball with dangerous criminals… I was born and raised in Houston, and last year I was almost kidnapped in a parking lot in North Houston, and my husbands coworker was almost kidnapped also in a parking lot in Houston but she fought and got away. You are playing with these people and you are playing with Houstonians lives. Your degrees are worthless! Finally left the city I once loved.

    This was on Hillary Unger's web page when running for re election: "Indiscriminate incarceration is not only unjust but, it also harms our society as a whole. That is why I firmly believe that, where it is appropriate, courts should find alternatives to incarceration with an eye towards rehabilitation, a reduction in recidivism, and an increase in community safety"........🤣🤣😂 Do your homework before voting!!!!
