Now it makes sense why Super 17 isn't in the game yet. Because if they wanna make him story accurate, they have ro figure out the balancing nightmare that is him being able to absorb all energy attacks without making him broken.
It's simple, just make it so he can absord by using skill points. for example 2 skill points for every absorption, this would mean you wouldn't be able to use other skills and he can't spam it either... maybe make it so he can theorically block ultimates too but by wasting 3-4 skill points.
@happyd150 Technically they could if they make him lore accurate to Physical Damage. SSJ4 Goku would've killed him if he wasn't obsessed with using Kamehameha x10 at the time.
You'd be surprised how many people play dragon ball games, but have never watched the show and know nothing about the series. They just picked it up because it's a fighting game. Lol
IF they wanted to bring in Super Android 17, I the best way to balance such a character would be to make physical attacks do more damage entirely, or they give him a sort of state where once he enters, ki blasts are nullified and absorbed, but he cannot move when he is hit by them and has a tad of end lag, as well as increased damage to physical supers. He has a barrier in this scenario so the choice is, do I use a regular barrier to block everything so I move faster and take no damage, or use the absorb ability state to recover health and do more damage, but im more vulnerable to a good counter attack? Otherwise, they just have to make him different in game that Gt, at least somewhat. And technically Super android 17 has to fuse first to get to that state, so there is at least a step before you get that monster. Still would probable be exploitable but could work, what do yall think?
@RacheleBridio-xl5yx just hold the block button right when the ki barrage comes. Hold perception from Kamehamehas and beam attacks. For simple controls.
@@Chuckshh I think they should at least be able to absorb beam ultimates but not ball ults like Beerus, Supernovas, Death Balls, Spirit Bombs or rush ults obviously etc. And that if they manage to absorb the Ult it puts the Android into Sparking Mode. But maybe even that might be too broken. Just an idea though.
@@Chuckshh Probably, but that's why the only kind of ultimates they should be capable of absorbing are beam based such as Kamehamehas, Galick Guns, Final Flashs, pretty much any beam attack. But not energy ball ults, rush ults, discs, or explosion ults. In the old tenkaichi games they were able to absorb beam ultimates.

@K713channel i think they can give us the same super 17 from past games, and we'd be happy.
What are the inputs?
@jwall1646 Perception for big beams. And double tap the block button for rush ki blast.
