what makes it worse is whe n you work at a warehouse like mine where the crates go on flat beds so you have to get every single spot with the really cheap wrap
I just wrap forward, I can do pallets all day, I just bend at the knees, 3 times at the bottom and up every half a wrap. I don't spend much time low as I get around the pallet in just a couple of seconds anyway. Getting items to help me and using them just adds time and I am nearly 50.

I start at the bottom go about 4 times to secure the box to the pallet. Then i overlap 50%going up and 50% going down. I tilt the roll to angle the plastic into thicker strips and i make Giant Xs on each side.

This makes you stronger, it's the standing doing nothing shit that kills your back. Flexing your back and exerting yourself isn't going to destroy it unless you do extremely idiotic things. As far as the original comment is concerned, they make gloves, I wear them. It doesn't scar you as such. My hands still look perfect after i wash them, despite me doing physical work.
we need these at the aldi's warehouse, working for capstone they expect us to handwrap full pallets top to bottom bending over and trying to fit through very tight spaces, we don't have open floor space to wrap or stage pallets for breakdowns/downstacking maybe at most a foot of space inbetween pallets if your lucky, just enough to fit through sideways if your a slim guy, we usually end up just half wrapping pallets (the top) because nobody wants to try to attempt what was stated above. definately wrapping more than 15 pallets a day aswell, on average we unload 16-30 pallets out of a truck (pinwheeled or double stacked) that usually end up getting downstacked built into new pallets which need wrapped on average building atleast 10 pallets per truck, solo person running atleast 5 trucks a night typically.
Going into a temp job tomorrow afternoon wrapping bagged milk stacked on pallets. I’m assuming these videos make it look easier than it’s gonna be once I get there. Lol
Was searching for something else, this video came up. Stayed to see if there's any tips or tricks I can take away from this, did learned how the machine wraps the pallets 🤷♂️ never took the time to realize that. Tips for others who're watching this and what I learned from my boss from what he was taught, use a broom 🧹, all warehouse should have a broom or 4 laying around. Drop roll of wrap through top to bottom, now wrap. Saves your back, you're wrapping, and now you're sweeping during that first bottom layer lol. Same idea as your tool here.
Again he just pulls out the film and it just comes out clean and starts wrapping, nearly always there are tears and overlaps so you have to tediously pull off shredded layers to get to a clean start, i can hardly believe i am on youtube discussing this subject but i just started warehouse job and the stuff we use is short and shit !!
I homemade 1. It work Perfect. I usually get Dizzy From Shrink wrap but When I homemade the Stretch Wrap Pallet Wrap It Actually much Better. My Manager was Impressed. I wrap today 18 Skids.
Hello Charles...yes this dispenser can wrap the bottom - middle and top of the pallet. The long handle is for the bottom and top wrapping. There is another handle closer to the top of the roll for wrapping in the middle of the pallet.
@@jccasado5083 Don't think so. Machine of $3000 is a Mickey Mouse machine, consumes a lot of film and take 3 minutes to wrap a pallet. By hand is faster, better and cheaper.
When I used to work for Cleansource. I had to wrap pallets all night for months because the machine broke down. This is nothing. I had jobs that would make the toughest of men cry like little girls.

10 seconds and blood pressure in the head???? You got bigger problems. I got a stomach in my way and I'm 5'11" and I manage just fine buddy.
