🐔 Does the sledgehammer need a buff?🐔
Maybe it should be able to 1 shot barricades on heavy swing by doing 3x damage to objectives.
Maybe it should deal 70 damage on heavy swing to archers and vanguards.

I love this weapon, but it sometimes hard to gauge the range on it. The best buff for engies would be a second weapon, they could just give us a knife, and it would be infinitely better. Engineers Assemble ❤
To be fair it is a short boi. I reckon we should get a mallet as a secondary or maybe a hatchet.

To be honest I turned off my chat and kill feed when I first started playing and forgot it existed until last week. Maybe you can find your name in scoreboard at the end because you might have been.
I have never had a victory at Galencourt on defense or offense.

I always get destroyed by this weapon for some reason. It's slow but somehow they always get me. I wonder what I'm not understanding.
I think most two-handed weappns outrange the sledgehammer by atleast 10% except maybe the shovel, battle axe and maul.
In team fight stick to your team as the sledgehammer has trouble closing distance and is bad at fighting multiple enemies.
If you get caught out in a 1v1 try and outrange it and back-pedal while throwing out attacks if necessary. If the opponent tries to face hug you prepare to throw jabs and reset your initiative.
Another viable strategy is to backpedal and throw heavy attacks and drain stamina. Field engineers often don’t have a secondary to fall back on.
The sledge is actually deceivingly quick,it's right behind the shovel and can be acceled into the sound barrier.
