FZ can never be a competition to Apache but MT series is way ahead of all 3 trending bikes Apache, Gixxer and recently launched Hornet 2.0.

I have taken BS6 Matt blue variant, costs me 1.25 rear disc on road. Believe me whoever considering 160 cc segment within budget, I will strongly recommend this. The amount of torque, comfort, suspension is perfect for our indian roads.

@@fitnessofficial3506 As of now, I didnt feel vibration till 90kmph, past that you may feel little vibration on handlebar and foot pecks. There is a feature called eco which will be displayed on meter till 75kmph, which means till this speed you will get the best milleage. Moreover I think most of the people don't cruise past 90kmph in our roads. If milleage, comfort is your constraint with satisfied amount of torque, go for this. For more performance, I suggest to you go for Apache 1604v Bs6 dual disk variant.

Just want to clarify that the engine roughness or vibration is happening only in between 69-72kmph speed range. After that it usually gone and again when reducing speed it happening again in that particular range.
I also feel some roughness in this speed range is it any problem bro..pls tell me

If you want a cruiser bike..with an eye catchy look ,and u ride more on highway than in city...and need a top performance bike with best in class features,,, u can wait...but price would be above 1.7lakh on road considering bs6 Apache 200 4v is around 1.5lakh... ...and it will have low ground clearance...your choice...

Fz: refinement, Good milage ,fat tyre
Ns: Perimeter chessy,Good looks
Choice is yours if you want a racing, performance oriented bike then go for Apache
I own this bike. Handling is good in corners but overtaking is not so good... 80kmph is best cruising speed... I did 116kmph with a lot of struggle with my pillion passenger on....

Excellent review. Loved the way you mentioned about ur childhood love for broad back tyres. Yes, such tyres make a vehicle look sporty and serious. I was getting confused between many two wheelers ... shall i buy activa access or fascino for carrying things.... or sp, unicorn, fz or bullet.... All have plusses and minusses. Finally nearly decided on fzs a few months back. Then came the bs6. So waited . And now after seeing fzs in red , wow nothing beats it. The polo red looks so nice. Bullet is nice to look, but i have a feel it will be difficult to maintain and handle. Not sure of that. So going for the fzs. Even though im not that young, it makes me feel young. Decided on a bike over scooter because i dont have to carry too many things. Will compromise on the carryability part for better riding comfort and long distance ride of a bike. Going to book fzs ... Your video helped in finalising my decision because.

To be honest, this new fzs/fz design isnt good at all... the 2017 fzs/fz v2 with mudguard is the best looking fz ... they should have updated the looks with same design just like how tvs did with apache

Its not like that, sorry if you felt so. Yes this bike has less power but its not underpowered and in the end i said if you want more performance go for apache, ns or gixxer but if your main requirement is city riding, no use of extra power instead go for fz, get more mileage and as it's light, east for traffic situations.
And negatives, design, i dont like it, taillight should be led now, bigger instrument cluster, but these are subjective things so i dont emphasize too much on it, hope you understand this and thanks for supporting ❤️✌️

Yes as a owner of 4v I experienced things are bs4 Apache 4v is better then bs6 4v (headlight design) and fzs v3 interms of pickup ,fit n finish n price point view... But Yamaha fzv3 engine refinement is better than 4v... very nice engine beeting of fzv3. Apache 4v needs better engine noice isolation..

Mere paas TVS star city plus bs3 model hai or iss saal 14 January ko meri bike ko 5 years complete hogye hai. Meri star city plus abhi tk 25000 kms chali hai.
I own fz v3 bs 4.. from that movement very bad experience from then..
1.bike feels unsettled till it reaches 5th gear
2.Engine vibrates heavily at 55 to 65kmph speed.
3.V3_body is one of the most delicate body ever..
4.Back_view of v3 ll add up to the worst part of it.
Guys i feel it didnot fulfill the need in any department. Trust me. U guys can check it urself while trial ull feel all the issues which i felt. This issue is common for Al the v3 owners. Spoiler!!!!!

Quick answer: No.
Reasons: Less power, high servicing cost, no reserve fuel (meaning if your fuel indicators go down to even 2 cells, you'll probably damage fi sensors), also the tank lid if inserted incorrect gets locked and can be opened only in showrooms (you can check videos on RUclips).

This bike is by far the worst design by yamaha.... Looks like a hippo at the front and 🐖 at the back...also Lacks power and the front and rear brakes are so much different due to single channel abs. Head light also sucks

Among rtr, Xtreme 160, Gixxer and this, this one looks the most chhapri and yet this is the most comfortable, sensible, plush bike which lacks in high end performance. For a family man this is perfect but looks like something a mawali would buy. This is called the yamaha fz paradox.😁
