Now they don’t have to pay Dillingham, a point guard they don’t desperately need after drafting Castle, leaving more money for free agency. They also received future draft picks that could potentially help when Wemby’s in his prime or can also be used as valuable trading assets. I’m just speculating here based on what I’ve been reading, but it seems the Spurs organization has a few more tricks up their sleeves. And as a lifelong Spurs fan, I have no reason to think otherwise.

Harrison is a curious fit match-up wise, he measured at just over 6'-5" at the combine. his 7' wingspan is legit. Absolutely stellar attitude, vg+ athlete, big motor guy that likes to bang around. Hopefully his game translates to the NBA. Glad he went to the Spurs fer sure; if anyone can develop him they can.

He'll be a good 2-way player. Decent chance that he can convert to a regular NBA contract in 1-2 years.
The Spurs know the value of a talented, seasoned player from UNC - think Danny Green.
