I would expect zero off season signing. We already have a big roster and I am pretty sure we are bringing everyone back other than Devonte. Also other than PG13 (who is not coming to the Spurs and is 34 so we don't want him anyhow), there are no major free agents. Free agency in general is dead because players can request out whenever, so contracts don't matter. The Spurs are building from within and we like our guys. Get excited about seeing Mamu, Champagnie, Bassey, Keldon and Barlow on our team because they are getting minutes

    • @MaximusR93

@@MaximusR93 I still sadly think we see Collins play major minutes. The Spurs are not in win at all cost mode yet. The draft class next year will be stacked, we want to be good, but we also want probably a late top 10 first round pick. So Collins is still gonna play his role as the main tanker

#8 trade SUCKS! Nunez is a poor shooting, scoring liability.
I'd still advocate getting Lonzo Ball and Ayo Dosunmu for Keldon Johnson, Devonte Graham and Tre Jones and 2 2nd rd picks
Signing Isiah Hartinstien, Bol Bol and Nic Batum in free agency.
I know Castle didn't want to go to a team with an established PG. However, Ball has been injured and likely won't be available until late into the season and he's injury prone. Ayo is a great PG to come off the bench or start as Castle learns and improves his shot.
Now they'd have 6'6 Ball(injured), 6'5 Ayo Dosunmu, 6'6 Castle along with 6'5 Vassel playing guard. That's a deep, tall, skilled backcourt with a great mix of styles, excellent passing, good shooting and defensively steller

@Hobbiie I don't see it as overpaying. Giving up players no longer needed with salaries that aren't great for the NEED of young veteran PGs is actually brilliant and looking outside the box. Ayo is rising. Ball is the PROTOTYPE of the type of guard the Spurs need and would be excellent mentor to Castle. Will Ball be healthy? Yes, it's a concern but the Spurs have good medical staff to evaluate him.
