We're all robbed by the constant negativity in the comments about rampage. So much respect to every rider who's built and ridden a line in rampage. The risk involved in all these lines is so hard to understand - serious mental strength to commit to getting down the hill. Hyped to watch everyone make it down. So sick to see the different lines/builds and styles of the baddest men and women on two wheels! Please show love to everyone who drops in and quit making it about how your favorite rider wasn't scored high enough. It's nearly impossible to pick a winner when there are so many variables to each run.

Its bizzare how some riders are basically riding the same line as 5 years ago whilst others are building nearly all new but creativity of line choice doesnt seem to hugely affect judging.
There are other competitions for flips, whips, twists, etc. This is about gnarly, natural, steep, precision, free jumping, and guts to do such things that actually put me on the edge of my seat. That is what rampage should be. Determination, courage, and risk. What i have seen so far is, only a couple who can pass that job/work. Brendon and his crew are one.
It's going to turn into a slopestyle competition isn't it? There should be room for all three disciplines - Downhill. Slopestyle and 'Big Mountain'. Keep Rampage as it used to be - the best points for the most steep and technical runs; not who can do the biggest trick over a canyon gap.

Can’t believe you guys are still complaining :D Have you been there and have seen all of the lines/features in person? Have you ridden rampage in the past, so you can somehow judge the risk/reward? I assume you don’t. But I’m more than confident, that guys like the Claw, Bender & Greg watts for example know what they are judging. Of course the judging will always feel like someone got robbed, especially if it’s one of your favourite riders, but in the past it have always been the fans which are complaining & not the riders themselves. The Claw made a pretty nice video about last years judging, so people can relate more. I highly advice to give it a unbiased watch!

The results from the djudges last year were garbage. Made me loose all faith in this event.
I learned to ignore the judging years ago. Still an incredible event.
