Sorry, but my videos are educational, not for medical advise. Your gynecologist or oncologist is much better able to provide counsel regarding follow up.
@1210, Dear Sir, please STOP teaching the narrative that recurrences or metastasis only present in the abdomen or pelvis. My AGCT recurred after 20yrs. My oncologist initially downplayed it as no problem, just do another abdominal surgery. Luckily the PA ordered CT of lungs as well as abdomen and found it is in both my lungs. Otherwise, your lecture was very informative. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry to hear of your exceptional story of recurrence. I'm sorry if you felt I was conveying incomplete information. Rare events are rare, and while I try to teach our trainees to consider uncommon events, this was a basic lecture aimed at trainees, not intended to be a comprehensive survey of all the possibilities. I hope your further course with this disease is favorable.
There are too much content in this lecture, thanks a lot Prof Hassell .
great review! Thank you so much!! -path PGY5
Very welcome
What is the recurrence rate of sclerosing stromal tumor??
I had it and make a removal surgery from 3 weeks .. im 23 y.o virgin
It should be very low. It is an uncommon tumor however, so the data is limited. There are no recommendations for added therapy to my knowledge.
@@LewisHassell-OPEN thanks.. should i worry now ? 😂 Give me a medical advice like follow up or whatever
