I love the pistachio color of this rogue. The quality is for sure different but for me the lighter weight is a bonus. Congrats on your new beautiful bag and thanks for sharing.
I am so sorry that your hairstylist didn’t take into consideration you being hospitalized to wave taking your deposit. With you being a loyal customer staying with her as she changed locations, I would expect her to be as loyal to you in return. On a brighter note, you are back home and feeling better which is a Blessing. That Rogue and that color is so pretty. I love a tote bag and I really like the features of this one. The color is super gorgeous and just what I needed to lift my spirits. The situation with my stylist was disappointing. Obviously we aren’t friends, as I didn’t know her before she started doing my hair. Not to mention she’s young enough to be my daughter. I just didn’t think our relationship was 100 percent transactional. I was obviously wrong, so now I know how to deal with her moving forward. It’s all good. No one owes me anything. I appreciate you watching 🥰
You did well to wait a week to grab the rogue. I had looked at that several times and could not figure what I would wear with it lol. I definitely was tempted. I have some older rogues also and you can definitely tell the changes over time. They are still great carries and love them tfs and enjoy

Glad you are not in the hospital anymore. Kinda messed up abt your hairgal keeping the deposit, things like that leave a sour taste but I get you why sticking with her. But you know wassup now. That pistachio is so pretty. But heavier, hmmm. But no less a beauty! Enjoy!
Thank you! It definitely leaves a sour taste. I still haven’t rescheduled. But the pistacho is lighter in weight than all of my other 25s. I think it’s due to the changes with the hardware and the thickness of the leather
I think the leathers look different one looks really smooth and your back one has a more textured look and I’m wondering if it’s because of a slight style change. I’m not sure the green would look as nice if the leather was textured or the zipper was bigger. It’s got a very classic put your sundress on and cute shoes kinda vibe and the black bag looks like it could work with lots of classics and other styles. Does that make sense. Just my thoughts. I love the green by the way😊
The the black rogue is made of pebbled leather. My other rugs are glove tanned, so the leathers are different. However, the bags are still constructed differently. They swapped out the zippers and the zipper pulls for cheaper quality. My other glove, tanned leather rugs, have the larger zipper pools, and they look gorgeous. The smaller ones cheapen the look and feel of the bag IMO.
Gorgeous bag sis💚....im a hairstylist...over 30 yrs now...my opinion...you should have received ur deposit back or at least part of it or something....ur situation was an emergency and out of your control...me personally would rather have great customer service and understanding (within reason)than to lose a great client...but anyhoo so happy ur doing well now❤

I know time is money. Maybe she will do something to let you know she appreciates your business. ❤ I did not save as many coins as you on that rogue in pistachio. I purchased it for 487.50 while still on the Coach website 😬😅. I love it though. Imma wait for that lime. They aint gonna get me twice.😂 I am just joking. You know how we do. If I want I will get it, but a sale would be nice. Perfect example of: "if you gonna buy it anyway you might as well save a few coins." Tfs😁🤣❤

Definitely not good customer service IMO. One of the advantages of working for yourself is having autonomy and the ability to make your own rules. I would refer to my policy but still use discretion and make decisions about deposits on a case by case basis. And I definitely wouldn’t feel right taking the deposit of a loyal customer who was in the hospital.

While I understand she can't make an exception in all cases, but this was something out of your control. I completely understand not wanting a bunch of people in your head, but I've decided to stop showing loyalty to people and businesses that don't show loyalty to me. I also don't do business with people who only want to operate via a web portal. I've done it before, but choose not to go that route. I think it's very impersonal and like you said, you know what it is because she showed you exactly who she is. I hate having to change up my program too, but some situations dictate that change is necessary. I know you said you are going to continue to go to her, but just like you found her, you can find someone that you might like better. My real estate agent laughed at me because when I first met her, I expressed to her I wanted to meet to determine if we were a match for one another. But, because of my previous experience, I needed and expected something better. Turned out she is one of the best in the city. She was and is about her business. She has her own business, is a broker and sits of various real estate boards. She has been my go to person since I started working with her in 2015/2016. LOL...I know you didn't solicit for any advice, but I think I'm more upset about this more than you are!!😂😂😂

That’s just how everyone does it today. People are not respectful of other people’s time . If no deposit is required they book then don’t show. Not to mention I quite enjoy having my stylist’s undivided attention when I’m in the chair. Versus back in the day when they’re answering phones and booking appointments with clients in the salon. Online booking allows them to focus on the customer who is with them. Which means I spend less time in the salon . I prefer the convenience of online booking with LEGITIMATE businesses. I just wish business owners would use discretion with their cancellation policies
This is a lovely color. I hate to see changes like this made when prices don’t reflect it. Keep the same robust quality materials you’ve always used. 😒
