When I get those small ones I cut em in halves or thirds season them up salt, pepper, garlic powder and tumeric and make home fries

Hi this is my first time watching your videos on planting potatoes I really wish I was able to see how you did your potatoes
I planted potatoes 2 years but idk what I’m doing wrong. I’ve heard that your potato plant gives flowers so you know they are close to being ready I heard about 100 days. The 1 time I planted them in a raised garden the 2 year I planted them in containers but with both times I had nowhere flowers just went by the 100 days.
The first time I harvested them omg I was going thru the dirt and found one omg I was so so excited and I was saying Thank you Jesus every time I found another one I was doing the same thing Thank you Jesus I’m sure neighbors we wondering what is she doing but it was like finding Gold and the taste is so so amazing nothing like store potatoes I made stew with the smaller ones.
But second time I did containers and it was exciting I had a few big then smaller ones I planted the Yukon gold and the Red potatoes and they were awesome.
I guess I just have questions if there is supposed to be flower on my plants why or what am I doing wrong.

This is my first year container gardening potatoes. The experience was like no other. It’s better than a Christmas present, you have no idea what’s under the dirt. So unlike tomatoes that you can see what’s happening. LOVE IT. Thank you!

Great harvest! Those small ones they bag and sell in the store for more money than a regular 5 lb bag! We keep them all when we harvest ours. Nothing goes to waste.

I love your whole attitude on harvesting- It is not important the Size it is the Food to take the Hunger away- Fabulous. You have an amazing garden & homestead which you use every square inch of with growing food. My entire backyard is the same & kept extremely tidy as a clean homestead/farm is a safe one. The small ones can be washed, seasoned, oiled, and roasted with the skin on.

My wife and I bought the empty lot next to our house. It’s now a garden about 40x60. Right now I have 20 red, 20 yellow and 30 white tater plants doing very well!

Fantastic harvest. I have Beauregard now.120 days today. Not a bad harvest. I still have some that are just beginning to die back, leaves still green. Going to go to 150 days if I can. Zone 8a. Still warm 85 degrees. Fitst frost is nov 5. You give very good advice. Enjoy your potatoes and sweet potatoes.

I've got 3 grow bags at about 8 weeks. I've never grown potatoes before but I have massive plants growing up out of the bags (although there is now yellowing on the lower tier of the plants). Curious as to when to pull them and see what's in there.

How do you store your potatoes,we haven’t been so lucky,now we keep them in the ground and pull out when needed ,still have a raised bed of potatoes from last year
