    Hi Maa this was a nice video to watch calming and educating. I love how you clean as you go it makes sense, rather than doing it all at the end having to go back on yourself. Also the method of trimming down the potatoe stems, before digging into the earth with gloves, was another good method i saw interesting. Thanks Maa and well done. I am definitely subscribing to your channel for more methods on how to gardening for better health. Give thanks Maa more love and guidance. ❤💛💚💯

    ❤ Just stopped by, but subbed because you’re such a sweet lady. What a great harvest!!! This is my first year growing potatoes, so thanks for the tips. Sowed my potatoes back in April and about to see what I got in my pots this weekend. Super excited for my first harvest. ❤🌱🥰

    Thank you for sharing your clean as you go method. Your method is a game changer. I was making a big mess. I also like the white cover on your planting ring. I will utilize that type of netting for my collards.

      Thank you for subscribing to my channel. I am glad you found the information helpful. Yes, do get the white mesh covering. for your collards. It will help keep the bugs off your plants. FYI - you do not need to take the mesh off the collards to water the pants. The water easily goes through the net which reduces work. Have a great day!

    Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Liked the fact that you use TALL beds (I ain't doing all the bending over no more either!😄) and it's worth mentioning you planted a 'Determinate' variety of 'Russets' that typically are 'Hilled' and grow on ONE level &/OR UPWARD so there's not at much 'digging' to be done when it comes to harvesting. This is good for those of us of a 'certain age' or those of us who are 'Disabled' with 'back or joint issues'. Looking forward to checking out your channel.

    • @henrib723
      @henrib723  Год назад +1

      Glad you enjoyed the video. The tall raised beds make a big difference when planting, weeding and harvesting.They come in different heights too so if the tall bed is too tall for someone in a wheelchair there are shorter ones closer to wheelchair height. When you get time, watch some of my other videos. You may like those too. Have a great day.

    Your advice to wear gloves when digging in the soil is spot on. It makes me cringe whenever I see people just dig in the soil with bare hands and I know that many of them do it because they either don’t have gloves handy or perhaps they want to appear hard-core or as someone who is all into nature. Considering the amount of bacteria/pathogens in soil, no reason is good enough for not wearing gloves.
