Why do historically good batters suddenly suck as soon as they put on a Mariners uniform? Jesse Winker, Teoscar Hernandez, Mitch Garver, Jorge Polonco…
I just feel obligated to post this. I’ve had this question for a while myself. T-Mobile is an average to good Home Run park but a very difficult place to slug or single, a la “not a hitters park”.
The pitching in our division is also underrated. We’ve shared the division with the perennial WS contender and the next WS winner. Those things contribute too.
Ultimately, hitters gotta hit. Disciplined plate appearances is all we can really demand. Hitters have a hard time here. It’s favorable to our above average pitching though! Close games will be played..
The Mariners need to become total speed freaks. Speed never slumps!
Absolutely. I thought Dylan Moore was finally breaking out but he went 2 for 21 after those two Yankee games when he was the MVP.
The bottom line is this. Put Jonathan Clase and Ryan Bliss in the lineup. There is nothing to lose.
if our designated hitter could actually hit the ball winning would be easier!!!!
If anyone could hit the ball it would really help
@@stevenlindberg8347 now you're asking for a miracle...
I'm not mad thy lost I'm mad they couldn't touch a horrible pitcher
He shaved an entire run from his ERA today 😂
The amount of foul balls/whiffs on hanging curveballs and sliders is jaw dropping.
Happy to be in 1st, but there is no single bat, or two bats that could fix this current offense.
Yes!!!
Adding hitters to the M’s lineup is pointless until the M’s figure out the reason that good hitters aren’t succeeding in Seattle. It is hit or miss with bats (more miss). In case of Polanco and Garver, these are players that have numbers that are hard to explain after 2 months of adjustment to the new team. A player like Pete Alonso will have to go through the same period of adjustments that Polanco and Garver had to go through.
SEATTLE MARINERS WON AGAIN YESTERDAY. CONGRATULATIONS BOYS. VICTORY WAS OURS. SEATTLE ALL THE WAY. . SEA US RISE. .💙💙⚾⚾💙💙⚾⚾💙💙⚾⚾⚾💙💙⚾⚾💙💙💙
GOMS!
This team (although in 1st in the west) is 8 games back of the other first place teams!! The K at an alarming rate ( worse the even 2023) and have NO pop in the lineup. Brace for impact
How many times have we seen pitchers with a 7 ERA completely shut down the Mariners. Countless times.
Remember Spencer Turnbull, lance Lynn, Patrick Corbin. There’s been some games in recent years where the offense lays a fat one haha
Bob is the only good host in all of Seattle sports radio. Everybody else sucks on both stations.
Start by firing Servais snd the entire coaching staff, besides Woodward. When all hitters have taken a huge step backwards, at the same time, and are on pace to set a record for K's in a season, it's on coaching. 1 playoff appearance in his many years here is not good enough. DiPoto needs to make the move now, before the season is lost. Servais is not the answer.
Yes get some players but quit getting the Dollar Tree bums for 10 cents on the dollar like you just did s getting bum from the Nationals
