Well J. K. Rowling did reveal after the end of the Harry Potter franchise that Lord Voldemort did have sex and begot a daughter, so if there had been Twitter in the 1960s that’s something that Tolkien might well have had gone on to reveal about Lord Sauron, or maybe not.
Tolkien also DIDN'T say guyladriel wasn't married to Sauron. He also DIDN'T say she was actually a disabled transgender woman colour elf. So much room, Amazon.

Sauron turned back to evil not because Galadriel did something wrong, but because he is an incel, just like every self disrespecting male demigod is, because Tolkien never explicitly wrote that they are not.

The way Galadriel responded with "The Dutchman must have a captain" all my blood boiled in that instant

I loved you” and then Halbrand was like “I HATE YOU” and then Elrond came in and said “we’re doomed” but then the Harfoots all pointed up at the sky and said “the CLAWWWWWW” i was so deeply moved and I also cried the same way Galadriel was crying

@@kaiderhai86 It is out of time! Although I could feel the love and passion put into this show and, of course, the respect of the lore, there was just too much ground breaking stuff for little me.
I fuckn love this show man.. I get the hate because of the lore deviation from Tolkien's writings (that we know so far, like Elven rings before others, but maybe he already did that), but I always loved the way he wrote like someone telling a story of something that happens. Who's telling it? Halbrand might not even be Sauron, but a curveball and maybe the Witch King. I know nothing, but I love waiting and speculating.
I love this moment when Sauron shout on Galadriel that "You were the chosen one" and she refuses, so Sauron is forced to fight with her on plains of lava on Mustafar. So epic moment! One of the best in TV history!

I was at the edge of my seat, holding my breath and was waiting for the answer. After the finale, I was in awe . The extremely subtle hints that build up to the reveal was the cherry on top. Masterful writing that would make tolkien himself feel like an amateur.

Absolutely....I expected to see Halbrand walk off his injury in a few steps, then jump in to a car with his Witch king buddy 😏
I was absolutely blown away when Galadriel proved she was a strong independent woman by having a dead husband who is supposed to be alive and said "It's Powering time" as she leapt through the Ring to destroy the patriarchy with her friend totally-not-Sauron Halbrand.
When Galadriel said "It's you, you're the Lord of the Rings!" I burst into tears. Beautiful scene, absolutely life changing.
I really appreciate the excitement when from one scene to the very next, Sauron travels all the way across the planet to arrive at Mordor itself for the dramatic scene at the end.
Truly a masterclass in tension building and world building
The moment when Galadriel said- “the Kings of Middle Earth shall decide your fate “ followed by Sauron’s powerful response - “I Am The Middle earth!” Holy cow, what a scene that was, I realised I haven’t seen what she has seen
I'm still convinced Halbrand isn't really Sauron, I think that the real Sauron is actually the friends we made along the way.

I can image Tolkien himself weeping tears of joy that the show runners could craft such an intricate web of suspense and mystery using his characters and world. It will be looked back upon as the gold standard to all aspiring writers as the precise way to bring a story like this to life. Bravo Amazon, I had my doubts, but the results speak for themselves!

When halbrand said to adar that he needs to “return some videotapes” I knew then that he was sauron. A very subtle yet effective clue
When Sauron said “Do you think Tuco has breakage!?” I got chills
The biggest red herring is that in the first episode they establish cold fire indicates the presence of great evil, then meteor man touches down and the murderous protohobbits make a point of saying the fire at the crash site is not hot
Loved it when Sauron loses his limp while walking away from Galadriel and his butler comes to pick him up. Galadriel’s face was so red when she dropped her coffee cup and realised Halbrand was just the catering company’s name!
I love identifying all these memorable movie scenes in the comment section lol. 1000 years from now we will all remember rings of power in an even more greater light than all these amateurish movies.

Truly groundbreaking, the way they continuously subvert my expectations in unprecedented.
The pivotal part, from what I've heard (I have yet to watch a single episode), happens at the end, in the interrogation room, and Guy-lad Riel puts together all the clues; drops her coffee mug, and figures out who Kaiser Soze was all along.
And I thought Galadriel was Sauron when she said "The time of the Men is over, the age of diversity and representation has come!"

I liked when Sauron actually called Saul.
Not only is this show a masterpiece as a TV series but the story can be considered one of the best Literature of all time. It surpasses Milton's Blank Verse in Paradise Lost, has a greater impact on the western canon than Homer, more mystical than the Divine Comedy and dialogue to rival that of Shakespeare himself.
When Galadriel is facing Halbrand about how dangerous would be to associate with orcs and do evil things, and he told her "No you don't know who you're talking to... Let me clue you in... I am not *in danger*, Galadriel, I am *the danger*", and then proceed to give that incredible evil speech, revealing he was Sauron all along... I was absolutely shocked. What a show!
What a twist....how would we have known, this is "The Usual Suspects"''s of twist. Mindblowing good.
