Can I play with both expansions at the same time or do I have to chose one? Thanks!

I really like what this brings. I think it closes all the gaps so to speak. I love that the blue cards now have value. It does absolutely change the weight of the game from a 2 to a 3 I think. I can see that being an issue for a lot of people as there really is a lot going on, especially when you bring Pantheon in to the mix. However.. I think the game is just about perfect when you do that. Granted.. I thought the game was already just about perfect.. so apparently you really can improve on perfection!

Can you play this expansion combined with Pantheon?
By the way: I host board games for people with disabilities, I once hosted 7 Wonders Duel with a blind person and it was an incredible experience. Very accessible game! I’m wondering if the accessibility is reduced with the new tokens and mechanics?

Yes you can play both together. Great job on playing with a blind person! I'm not sure how the new mechanics and tokens would affect that, but hopefully you can tell from my video!

@@TheGameBoyGeeks I decided to get it. I was on the fence, but your pros and cons helped clarify the value of this expansion for me.

There seems to be an issue in the manual where it says how to set up the cards in the beginning. You take out 3 cards from each age, while then adding 5 senators to the 1st age, 5 to the 2nd, and 3 senators to the 3rd. The problem is: you need 23 total cards to make the 3rd age formation, but if you take out 3 3rd-age cards in the beginning and add 3 senators, that only gives you 20 cards to build the required formation when you need 23? In other words, don’t take out three cards from the 3rd age in the set up at beginning, and just add the 3 senators. Even though the instructions say otherwise. Did anybody else notice this or am I missing something with the Agora instructions?

I think you're forgetting to add the 3 guild cards to age 3 still.

It does seems too much. The cubes or the cards. Both seems like too much.

It is definitely not too much. Believe me. After unboxing this expansion, we can't stop playing it. It adds another layer to already perfect basic game, in an elegant way. Can't recommend it enough.

Have you played it with both expansions at the same time?

@@TheGameBoyGeeks Not yet. I'm going to tune my strategies with Agora first. BTW I would appreciate your review of both expansions played at the same time (I will add my experience then), you do a great job!

Compared to games with the Pantheon expansion (only), there is much more interaction between players with Agora. On top of that, the winning condition of having total majority in the Senate, is very intriguing.
