    I watch Bobby, Paul, and Dr. Berg and these three men have completely changed my life! I am off 8 medication’s, which totally blew my doctors minds because I am a kidney transplant patient and I have lost 80 pounds. I have not felt this good since I was in my 20s I am 63 years old. I don’t care what all the haters say what these three guys are teaching is the absolute truth. ♥️🙏🏻

    Wow thank you both, although I have lactose issues; after many years of stomach issues. Since 2008 after taking all the dairy out of my diet for 2 full years I felt so much better. After that I was able to bring goat milk cheese and some of the new Lactose Free Cheese back because over the years the quality of these products have improved so much. It’s so nice to have goat feta and mini tomatoes as a salad. Honestly it’s so fresh and delicious I eat it without dressing. Thanks for explaining about the butter. The quality products can be tolerated now too. I still have to take lactose pills if at a restaurant just to make sure but it is greatly reduced. It’s funny how taking some foods away makes a world of difference in how you feel. Have a good day.

    • @felipe3354
      @felipe3354 3 месяца назад

      Animal sources of protein are more bioavailable than plant sources, and Paul is concerned with the phytic acid content in beans and lentils. He refers to them as survival foods. This can be greatly reduced by soaking, pressure cooking, and consuming some vitamin c with beans.
      In my opinion, if beans are good, beef is great. Plenty of people thrive eating lots of beans, while others do far better with meat. It comes down to how you feel and what your health markers are. If you don’t eat meat or animal products, where do you get your fat soluble vitamins?
      I see no reason to exclude either. Vegans could certainly run into problems long term if they are actively avoiding meat, but I do disagree with Paul on the “beans are bs” way of thinking.
      I eat mostly beef but I’ll eat beans from time to time because I like them (rice and beans, Mexican food), but beef contains far more nutrients and will be better as you age, because red meat helps maintain for muscle mass in the elderly.

    Another important source of healthy fats is cold water fatty fish, like sardines, mackerel, herring and wild Alaskan salmon.
    Loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids, protein, taurine, Vitamins B-12 and D, magnesium, etc.
    Very nutrient dense.

    Thats such a great point about what chickens are fed, such a shame they are not at least given a natural diet. This subject of what our food eats, including the soil our plant food eats is such a issue. We are what we eat and that means what our food ate.

    For the average person, something to note is learning how to eat when you're actually hungry. When you eat nutritious real food that's not full of chemicals designed to make you hungry all the time, you're not going to be hungry as often. It's okay to listen to your body. It might have all the carbs it needs for now and it knows it's not deficient on any vitamins or fat stores and so you just don't get hungry, like for a whole day even. We tend to overeat even when our bodies aren't telling us we need nutrition.

    I too fell prey to the Fat Free era! I was anorexic as it was and when I did eat, all fat free and all of those nasty fake sugars to compensate for lack of fat/flavor! I am. so grateful for you Bobby for teaching us how to read labels and understanding those hard -to-say ingredients let alone what they actually Are.. Anyhow, I share your app with All of my family and friends! May our Good Lord Bless you (and if you use it for God's glory, this is your Ministry!).

    This was a great tutorial, thanks guys. I was vegan for many years but as I've gotten older (59) I can not do it anymore. Its really hard when I think of how industrial ag animals are treated and dairy especially, which I can't eat (totally intolerant to dairy from any animal), but I can't deny my health needs it. The fact is that animals can be raised and killed very humanely but laws won't allow it, at least not for retail producers, and land is hoarded and denied to the masses. This is the real problem, not whether killing animals is inhumane. That can be done painlessly and stress free. But local producers, even if their animals have the best life until slaughter, can't be killed on their premises if they are raising them to sell. This is wrong. Per usual.

    These 2 with Dr. Berg need to force the government to create a Food Bill of Rights to keep us healthy and stop food manufacturers from creating foods with ingredients that are detrimental to our health. I follow all three and I use the Bobby Approved app when I shop at the grocery store.
