I recently bought a whole new summer wardrobe, because I didn’t really…have one at one of my homes, and I appreciate that this video exists to help those with a similar problem
I recently got a similar yellow leather bag from Korean brand (Atelier de Lumen) and I'm stealing ideas from your outfits in the video! I think the soft yellow color and style will be perfect for casual summer days (or whenever it's sunny here in Jakarta, which is almost always). Thanks, Helen 💛
I got that blue stripe top after seeing you wear it in a video. I wouldn’t have gone for such a bold pattern or color myself (I probably would have picked the other colorway with the thin stripes instead) but it looked so good on you! And I’m so glad I tried it because I ended up loving it 🥰
Helen!! Rolla's is such a big brand here among NZ girls because of their signature Sailor jeans and Eastcoast flares. Best jeans I've ever tried. The regular Sailors are petite-friendly, and Eastcoast flares come in cropped versions, too. Rolla's makes such good jeans that give you that peachy butt. I'm surprised that you've only discovered it as an Aussie, it's honestly so famous in NZ. Probably because Australia has so many good brands lolll
Hey Audrey! So cool that they're popular in NZ :) I think they might be more popular in Melbourne (rather than Sydney) or I've just been living under a rock haha. We do have some great brands :)
Loved the Vlog Helen!! Love the button detail on the striped top😁 Pointelle always looks so pretty with s plain skirt or trousers. It never really goes out of style. Got a blue pointelle a while back in the sale to go with a black ive had for years. Thanks for sharing😘
I would recommend a slightly thicker linen as they tend to be more crease resistant. Potentially some kind of cotton linen blend would also be good :) It's such a versatile fabric, you'll love it x
Welcome Welcome Back Helen and I really really missed your videos so so so much you are my truly truly inspiration and I wish you have a wonderful weekend💗🥹😭✨
At only 4 ft 10 in I always have to shorten my clothes but I find any skirts or dresses cut on the bias cannot be successfully shortened without ruining the line of the hem.
Très beaux looks : impériale en robe verte, enfantine en t-shirt rayé, féminine en jupe blanche. Pour sortir en ville ou faire le soldes toutefois, seul le pantalon en lin beige mettrait à l'aise.
Hey! As always, thank you for the video!! I wanted to ask regarding the first white shirt "Pointelle White T-Shirt - Rolla's". If I'm between S and M, would you recommend the S or M? Thanks in advance!
I think it doesn't hurt to size up :) It's a more fitted tshirt so sometimes the shoulder wants to come in (if that makes sense) so sizing up would be fine - you might just have a little more room x
I've washed it many many times now so it's very soft now. When I purchased it, it was probably slightly rougher (but not really noticeable). Sadly I'm not the most helpful here as I don't have any sensitivity to linen (it's what all my bedding is made of haha).
The use of the word 'elevate' to suggest how to dress is a new thing; it means: look richer, more upper class, it's a class thing. Interested we all want to look wealthy and upper class, huh? or is this just accepted by people who follow these vlogs. I've never wanted to be part of the upper class but fashion is another world.
I always took it to mean higher marks/grades in fashion school. But I don't remember hearing it prior to the "old money" trend, so you're probably on to something!
Fair observation. To me, elevated means effortlessly chic. It's inspired by people around me who walk around in comfy clothes without looking slobby & I think it has to do with fabric choices
I live in San Francisco and in Paris; here everyone wears jeans, t-shirts, maybe 1 dress occasionally but no one is as obsessed with shopping as these vloggers. Who cares? This is so silly.
Then why bother and waste your time to watch it and comment? I love listening to Helen and her tips. Her style resonates with mine, although she has many great tips that can help even when your style differs from hers.
Lord only knows why you felt the need to leave two separate comments under it, then. I advise scrolling on and watching something that interests you, if you genuinely don't care. But it seems you need a bit of attention. Try getting it in a more healthy way - one that doesn't involve putting down creators.
Why watch something that it doesn’t serve you and helps you enrich you life Deborah? If you pay attention, Helen teaches how to maximize your wardrobe and ultimately to do not buy pieces that you don’t love, the opposite actually of mindless shopping.

So glad! :) I hope you love your new pieces x
Your summer pieces are so beautiful, definitely my style .
What a cute summer wardbrobe! I'm currently living in t-shirts and shorts, it's super hot and humid here :)
Very relatable. That's often me in summer :) Sometimes I actually can't bare to wear shorts and will opt for a breezy skirt instead.

YAY! Glad I could give you some ideas for your wardrobe :) Thanks for watching Devina x
You must have been filming this with the heater on full blast! Can you do a winter wardrobe for us Aussies please?

The skort + blue stripe top outfit is my fave ❤
I love how you can still envision all these summer outfits even though it is currently winter 😆👌

gorgeous outfits as usual. Thank you for posting.
I'm starting my linen journey this summer! So excited! I've been always afraid of its wrinkles but I decided to step out of my comfort zone.

I just got the Lenor wrinkle decrease, it does actually work, great for travel. Test on a hidden area first though just in case. 😊

Super video! You look stunning and dress collection is gorgeous even tho I’m not a dress person 💞

Where’s your red heart necklace from? Looks so pretty!! 😍
Excellent video, thank you!

Is that green Sezane dress soft. I’m sensitive to linen?

I think the word elevate is meant as a suggestion to make your outfits a bit more interesting. Adding a little personal touch 😊

So true, good point, material has a lot to do with it x
