Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I'd like to see "Steal the Cargo" where a vehicle carrying a shipping container team has to defend it from the bandit team.

I've been building ships with reactors you've got to discard before they burn out. You lose all your shield generators and most of your heavier weapons dumping the core. But, keep the majority of your functionality and movement.

I feel like the overpowered vehicles should have a side-goal to add variety.
Like having to circle the island until they fall, that way they don't have to stay in the same place.

You have an entire ocean map with all kinds of underwater terrain and you play on danger zone for a sub battle
maybe they just like the danger zone more then the high seas
High seas water is much darker if I recall. They recently played in it, and you could barely see
More visibility and a flat bottom to keep things fair.

Challenge idea, who can make the best police car for a game of cops and robbers, one person drives a police car who rams into the bandits, the cop is slightly faster and has infinite respawns, and everyone else drives bandit cars with a couple of minutes for a head start and only one life, the amount of time for the head start and whether or not the bandits create their own car, and the limitations regarding size and power cords, is all up to you, the officer that gets all bandit players in the least amount of time wins.
Can you do another video trying to recreate a weird, real life aircraft?

This small creator built some of those. His name is @GrootDVG. But yeah Scrapman should do that again.
Challenge idea : Siege the Fort
One creation is a large, armored fort with shields, that's anchored to the ground(or not/whatever has less lag). The fort has miniguns for air defence and cannons for ground defence, not rockets!
The siege creations are one land vehicle and one air vehicle. The land vehicle can only attack the fort while it's shields are down and the air vehicle can only attack the shields, I have no idea if EMPs will work for this... The siege creations have to work together to disable the shields and destroy the fort in the shortest amount of time, whoever lasts the longest as the fort, wins! What weapons the siege creations use are up for determination so that it's kind of balanced and so that you can get a reasonable video of it.

An interesting bonus round would've been to let KAN do another round as the big one vs the small ones, then we could see how much that "going last" advantage would've helped him!

Doing a no testing battle/race would be cool. You could have a few different races or battles that you have to build vehicles for, but you can't test them befor
For the next video, I think you could have a cargo truck versus two cars. One player would be in the truck while two other people would be in their car builds. The truck would be like the overpowered tank, but instead of trying to stay alive for the longest, it would have to get from one point to the other.
Kinda like the war rig from mad max

Don't know if you've done this before, but having a ship/sub trying to destroy a fort (or just land vehicle/object) while a plane tries to destroy the ship, in the vein of the Alicorn fight from Ace Combat 7, that would be neat. Like, going even more asymmetrical with the multiplayer challenge

Idea: Overpowered multi-purpose vehicles. Examples:
- planes that can also submerge mid-flight and fly out of the water again)
- amphibious tanks/boats
I propose overpowered walkers vs mini cars
I think it would be fun to see two cars rolling around an at-st looking mech
Next time you do a sub battle you should put the gun on top and focus on maneuverability soy you can just swoop under them and blast away
Now that you guys did land, air, and sea overpowered builds. So now try to combine all three into one overpowered all terrain vehicle vs mini all terrain
Suggestion: you did a battle with plane formations so why not an overpowered formation against mini formations?

I like that the overpowered sub is called "Submaburger" :)
I'm pretty sure this hasn't been done yet, so what about pirate ship battles? You build ships in High Seas that primarily use sails for movement, plus 1 outboard motor for reverse or going up wind. And you only get to use fixed, side mounted gunpowder cannons. Also no gyros or servos, only buoyancy, ballast, and rudders for control and stability, just like true pirate ships. and maybe for bonus rounds replace the gunpowder cannons with tank cannons or rockets

There's not much to overpower since you've done trucks, tanks, trains, planes etc.
You should do a battle where the attacking Team Captain has a slightly more formiddable craft than their crew mates. Maybe, only theirs has a shield.

Fun idea: you should do a battle with 1 overpowered hover car and 2 mini hover cars.
mech war but they have to have a jet pack and the fight is on top the map so some kind of mech with jet packs you get 2 miniguns and only 2 rockets you get a 1k part limit not counting the 4 weapons 1 shield the rest is up to you guys but that would be cool to see

Scrapman, for a future video, u should do (dogfighting sailboats) or (overpowered sailboats) on the highseas map.
I still think the longest lasting orbital robot would be really cool. Basically autonomous vehicles in orbit around the asteroid with evolution

I think you could do byoancy powered subs and its just basically going to be disastrous up and down pitching with no gyros, thrusters or glitches
The next overpowered challenge should be a overpowered ant ti air turret vs gliders and see who can make it to the ground first

Because KAN dibs to go last next week you have to make a challenge that gives a disadvantage to going last.
you guys can reverse these battles like instead of building the mini subs, try building the overpowered vehicles and the mini's have a goal like destroy a core creation or anything that they have to destroy and the overpowered are there to defend it, adjustments could be used if the overpowered are too much for the minis like limiting the guns of the overpowered. these can also apply to all of your overpowered challenges, land, water, air, and space.
and also another fun idea, an overpowered all purpose vehicle and mini all purpose vehicle and like the previous one, this must have a mission to have twists instead of a fixed pvp challenge
You should try making small boats with depth charges only to fight this submarine.

Idea: a juggernaut race, everyone takes turns playing a juggernaut truck with lots of weaponry racing against the other two in small battle cars, the battle cars have to try to get the juggernaut truck in last place (also configure it so that the battle cars are on the same team)
13th day of asking, Dear Scrapman, I have an idea.
The challenge would be to go as fast as possible in either kp/h or time from corner to corner of the grid map with a set power core limit like maybe 50 or 100. I think this would be an interesting challenge due to the need to balance aero, acceleration and the power limit.
- Yes I will try on the discord, but I cant be bothered, and I'm stubborn, so I will try this method for 1 month and then start on discord
