Preserve and keep formatting constant when refreshing Pivot Table in Excel

This was helpful! Now, what if I want the cells "behind" the pivot table (the rest of the sheet) to be gray and keep it gray color. How can I keep the same color even when I expand the pivot table?
Is there a way to lock the color of the sheet?

What if I want to maintain the height of the column that I want to work. Everytime I refresh the pivot table, the height of the row comes again with the parameter values.
