- Hello all, this is my first race with the new Tekno RC SCT410SL @CoralSpringsRCTrack Mayhem V Series - Race 3 in South Florida. I'm Dante starting postion 2, white truck with red and blue race stripes. Just a quick intro and the race starts at 1:36 in the video. It was my first race in quite a while. I've only raced twice since June 2022. My first race back was awesome to say the least with the new 410SL it was more than I had hoped for. I was totally rusty and not used to the track layout which equals MAYHEM!!! Lol hope you enjoy the video. Luckily around lap 8 or 9, I took over 1st and held until the end :) Thanks for watching! Congrats bro!
Thank you!
Sick layout and great driving!
Thank you! The new layout is pretty cool too. I appreciate you watching :)
Nice work! Will be curious to see more how these perform outdoor and durability with the weak bulkheads. Love my ET410 otherwise. Looks like maybe need some more weight in the rear?
Yep, for sure the rear was getting loose. I'm also going to try adding heavier rear sway bars and lessening the punch a little should help also. After that I may try going to 15k diff oil in the rear. I added an SCT410.3 rear bumper which did pretty well considering all of the crashing I did lol. @@in4bliss Awesome work! I'm actually in that group too. Selling my SCT410.1 for a .3 this month. Was eyeing the new SL though.
Congrats on your win 🏁
Thanks! I have another race video win coming soon!
멋진 자동차❤❤😊
Great racing!
Interesting that you're using a 540 motor.
Don't you miss the torque from a 550 motor?
Hi, thank you! It's crazy but there's actually more than enough torque with the 540. I have the throttle punch turned down to around 70% and I went up to an 18T pinion to get less torque and more top speed. Even with this configuration I'm still feathering the trigger because I'll just spin tires if I nail it. In all of my recent race videos, I was running a 17T pinion from race 1 to race 4. In race 5, I switched to an 18T and never went back. In the past, I've owned and won these series races with a Losi MIP SCTE and the Tekno 410.3 which both had a Tekin Pro4 4300kv, the longer 3652 can. This 410SL with the 540 has every bit of torque and speed as my past SCT's if not more. Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support!
@@in4bliss glad to hear it. Just got a short course myself and want to change motor and esc. And got a couple of suitible 540 motors laying around :)
Nice is that a 10th motor with the smaller standard sized shaft?
Thanks! Yep, it's a 540 size. According to the specs, the shaft diameter is the smaller 3.15mm size. I'm currently using a cheap Amazon set of pinion gears (18t) and the mesh is near perfect.

Nice. My 410sl is still waiting for a motor
You get the motor yet? If so how do you like it?
@@slipknot42088 with a futaba controller the 410sl is smooth as silk.
AE ball cups?
Yep! They're the ball cups for 3.5mm turnbuckles. The kit turnbuckles are only 3mm. I'm using the combo in my turnbuckle video. ruclips.net/video/X3aNHcTYy34/видео.html
