Because it's not a bussines for them. They aren't making the game to earn money. They're making a game cause they love to make a game (That's apparantly set in medieval times) & as you notice; they putt all their passion into it.
That is why most games these days fall flat. They think about all the money options before they even can make a solid game lol.
A game is a piece of art & You can't create art on demand.
Little Arvin If you go and look at old behind the scenes footage of the dev of the first couple halo games, the devs had much the same aditude. They weren't confident it a great product, the always doubted anyone whould like theyre game and so as a result were probably always questioning whether an implementation whould be the right choice or not. That kind of additude gives me perhaps more faith that this game will be great more than anything else.

This game is just phenomenal.
Dapdoi Ardon it's out and it's phenomenal, seriously the amount of detail in this game is actually breathtaking, it's huge I've played it for only a few hours but I am blown away, this game is like a first person Witcher 3
Dapdoi Ardon I've only had 1 crash and 1 freeze. Haven't noticed any bugs really, there's tiny things like clipping errors but it's a huge undertaking tbh I expected way more issues, my first couple hours of Skyrim had more bugs. And if you like the Witcher 3 you'll like this it's honestly very fun

I feel you, man. I don't know, but I cry often from excitement during these trailers. As a Czech I have to say that I'm extremely proud of the fact that this came from my nation and is made with pure czech creative will and power.

Seeing the current shit that is going on in the current AAA industry, this game is starting to look more and more out of place in one of the best ways possible!

That's the same attitude that Yasunori Mitsuda had when he composednthe music for Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, ect.
Since they all extenuated the games beautifully, I have great faith that the passion in the minutia will come through in the final product. (Though the reflections on the roads and the facial animations are imo unfortunate)
Surely Sweden is the only country to have these issues. I mean.. Surely. Please remind me why do we even have countries. Please.

Hudba je absolutně epická - člověk ji nejen slyší ale i cítí. Tak má správný soundtrack vypadat.
The soundtrack is the number one reason as to why I pre-ordered this game over a year ago. Historically accurate music is my favorite thing to see in video games. Also, I have a little soft spot for Gregorian chants. They helped me with a lot of studying/paper writing in college! Good job War Horse Studios on making such an amazing game and good luck on your release in two months! Can't wait to play the finished product!

When I supported this game a few years ago via kickstarter, I had no idea it is going to be so big and great.
Even those 2 years you are late now compared to the originally promised release date, are like nothing. I enjoyed following the progress of this project and can't wait to play the game in February.

This is amazing. That sense for detail. Even that singing was captured in real Sazava monastery so when you hear it in game its 100% real.

Dragonlord247 well you can buy medieval swords that looks alike this one or any other type of medieval sword. If you want it, there are lot of czech shops that ships internationally.
me too, but at least i was able to pre-order it in the steam, only pre-order from these guys and witcher guys.
I love the dedication and love for details of smaller studios like CD Projekt RED or Warhorse. A lot of AAA titles are half-assed nowadays but I can feel their love for their game already in every aspect which is shown. Please never lose that dedication and love to gaming culture. Please preserve it no matter how big and successful you might become in the future.
I hope that this game will be as amazing as it looks and sounds and that Warhorse will have a huge commercial success with it. Can't wait till my order arrives.

HOW IS THS GAME BEAUTIFUL! And music is so climatical
Finally got this game, and while the rest of the game is absolutely fantastic, the soundtrack continues to blow me away. I don't know how you did it. Hope this game gets a sequel.
This music does seamlessly move from action to peaceful exploration. It’s lovely to listen to and never grates or gets irritating. Sometimes I load the game and just leave it in the main menu to just listen while I do something else One of the major characters in the game. Well done guys.

When he switched the MIDI track to the live recording I got goosebumps, it sounds amazing! And having played the game I can honestly say that it wouldn't be the same without the music.

It whould be great thing for the fans to have it a update it whould increase the fan base with might lead to more sales but if you have it as dlc just don't get greedy that's the down full to many games and avoid microtransactions and loot boxes trust me on this EA is suffering the consequences

Good music can really make or break the atmosphere of a game, glad to see that such close attention is being paid to it. Sounds great from what I can hear, those Gregorian chants in those gorgeous monasteries sound and look great. I just hope the game is well optimised and runs smoothly!
