This is a Mercedes-Benz (W211) E 420 CDI 4,0 l biturbo Diesel V8 (OM629) that has 314 hp and 730 nm standard, but now thanks to Kleemann KD-Chip Kleemann ECU-sofware kleemann waterpump and straight pipes from cat-back delivers 414 hp 1005 nm!!! (5 more than a S 65 AMG ) lowered by Kleemann EBL "Electronic Body Lowering"-module (air suspension) 19" CLK AMG Black series wheels, and 18" SL,CLS,SLK55 AMG wheels on winter. Designo Chablis (gold metallic) E 63 AMG front splitter and rear spoiler. Good looking diesel!

The base E420CDI weighed 1.9 tonnes, that's why. :-) For these lovely cars, the 0-62mph time does not convey the ability it has to overtake slower cars on a country lane, or cruise at 120+mph on the motorway in a state of relaxation. The 100kph-200kph or 150-250kph times will probably seem a bit more impressive compared with other cars of similar 0-100kph times.
A more modern f10 535d (my car) does 0-60mph in 5.7s .. i regret not buying a simple 220e and fit the om629 to it, tune it and go on reliably with regular maitenance, the f10 i basically had to replace all the vital parts that should last a pretty long time, rods, oil pump, chains, just to keep my crankshaft happy which is imo, a racecar maintenance, and still everytime the ecu goes on crazy when i try to press the pedal hard to overtake and throws a drivetrain malfunction, not saying the beamer is slow, it is better looking, you also can get loads of options and extras with a W211 (can't say the same for the w212) unlike the beamer which every single option you need to pay for it ...
what about the gearbox 1000nm ??
Made for 500k of abuse standard ... little extra torque won't hurt it ;)

You're joking. Between 2005-2015 Mercedes had some of the most obnoxious sounding V8's.
Oh so AMG, Black Series, Brabus, .... These are all really really quiet cars, so quiet you might think they're electric 🤦🏼♂️ that's a RR's job it's the only really quiet and fast car apart from EVs get a life mate if you're hating do something better ...
