I'm very early in my ham radio journey. Got my UK foundation licence about 18 months ago and I did it by watching your videos. Particularly all the ones aimed at those study for the technician licence which is similar to the foundation level here in the UK. So a big thank you from M7ULV.
Where are all the young Hams? I'm old and that's all I see
They had a Youth Lounge that, to me, was the highlight of the show. I was amazed at how many kids they had involved. Hunstville has really got it going on!
Most people were over 40. Dayton's crowd was a little younger. I bet the Orlando crowd would be mostly old folks. If you want a hobby that attracts young people, try gaming. It will be mostly dudes though. If you are looking for young ladies, best option is dancing in the Miami nightlife.
When you walk by the Flex booth tomorrow, could you please kick Mike in the shin for me? Ordered the Maestro Control Console with my 6400 3 years ago and I'm still waiting on the Maestro. Frustrated doesn't begin to explain...
We need a comment from someone at Flex radio to this. If not, I will assume it is true. This is not acceptable.
@@bassmanjr100 It’s absolutely true. When I ordered, they showed “in stock” on their site. They haven’t shipped any in over 3 years - can’t get components. Supposedly, they’re going to start shipping this fall. When I ordered mine, the price was 1,150. Now they’re $1,600. I hope they don’t expect me to pay the additional $450.
