Join me for a walk around of the Huntsville hamfest. All the used ham gear you can think of. 2 day event and yes they are right it is the friendliest hamfest in the countey!
Really nice to see the activity in amateur radio-I had a license back when I had to transmit and receive code to pass the test-thank you for a great video!
One of the best videos I have seen of the Huntsville Ham Fest.Did a good job showing what was on the tables instead of talking to everyone and showing the crowd.Interesting.
Thank you for the nice video. You did NOT have to carry heavy items for 2 blocks. We have a ramp at the back of the South Hall and gladly help people load/unload their items. DE N4KH Flea Market Chairman
We did get this info and were helped out with a handy shopping cart, which worked great. We plan to make another weekend of it next year in the rocket city.
I moved to Alabama 2 years ago after this video I will be at the one in 2024 in Huntsville next year. I have not tested yet but have considered maybe by this next I will have my license. My dad was a Ham Radio operator and we used to go to Ham Fest down in Florida late 70s and early 80s. This how remember Ham Fest used to be like people selling equipment , classes , short lectures and other ham related events. Do they still give licenses exams usually done by local Amateur Radio Club at this Fest ?
Hello from Melbourne Australia, fantastic video, just wondering if I can be allowed to show this over our local ATV Repeater VK3RTV please, it would be great viewing...Cheers Clint - VK3CSJ
Overall I thought it was a really good hamfest. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I thought prices on used gear was low, some really decent deals to be had. I was very impressed with the Huntsville Hamfest's youth program, never noticed so many kids at a hamfest before. They should be commended for that. .
I ended up buying this TS-940. Very nice rig! It was mint and functions flawlessly. Belonged to the guys recently deceased father. I told him it was going to a good home and that I'd put it to use and take real good care of it. I carried that heavy sucker all the way to my car. lol ruclips.net/video/SidPNC4m6P4/видео.html
Thanks for the video tour.
I will be attending again this year. We had a great time last year. Looking forward to hanging out in Huntsville for a few days again.

No problem. Thank you for watching. I am trying to give a taste of ham radio today.
You did an excellent job on the video and also the comments on audio. I felt like i was right there watching on a 55 inch TV
Thank you for the video.
Found me at 15 minutes in, I'll be back again this year, if I can make the trip

Thank you. Just want to show what's for sale.
Found me at 40 second mark. Was my 1st time there and will say its a nice fest
Was the first time for us also. Definitely will do this again. Thank you so much for watching.
Thanks for showing the locals
If that small amount of computers bothers you, don't ever go to Dayton hamfest, its over half computer stuff.
That's a shame. I wouldn't allow it unless it's a setup for ham radio use.
Crazy, 4 people sitting behind 4 boat anchors 😂😂😂
