Always a great day when D-Lab does a hamfest walk-through! The only RUclipsr I've found who actually narrates and takes a close look at the goodies, rather than just walking around and never focusing on anything. We appreciate you, Terry!
That was fun and I don’t know anything about that stuff except for a few CB’s and walkie talkie’s, oh I would have bought the guitar and amp, that was a good deal. Thanks for taking me along, Terry.
Hi Terry Thank you again for helping out finding a 6 meter rig. You might remember i was looking for a 6 meter all mode mobile. You suggested i go to the announcer's table. I did, and a gentlemen at the table walk with me i didn't find a mobile, BUT i ended up buying that Icom IC7410. Pleasure meeting you. Peace
Terry, I love your videos!!! This is an awesome hamfest. I really hope to go next year. I live in Northeast Ohio so it wouldn't be that bad of a drive. 73's DE KC8WVH.
Too bad I'm not smart enough to do that dot dash stuff, looks like fun! I have some cb junk down in the cellar that hasn't seen daylight in 15 years. There just isn't room in cars today!
39:10 have a pair of those Realistic speakers still in my stereo setup, just for dinner music - low and unobtrusive. Used to serve as the speaker(s) on the old Zenith console TV when the original speaker fried.
If it’s not too much trouble… Could you do one of these walk through videos giving your opinion of what particular radios are good for? Known issues or possible mods? Anything else interesting about them? Maybe the asking prices at these swap meets? Ham radio noob with little to no concept of price or usage.
Great stuff! I just drove 5 hours one way to Puyallop Mike and key show. 2 stories of hammy goodness! Walked out with a Johnson Adventurer and a QRP watt meter from oak hills research. A Great time! Are going to replace the 500?? If So with what??

D-Lab, Terry, That first guy you had a conversation with looks like the late movie actor Chill Wills.

I noticed that probably 95% of the people there were looking at 50 in the rearview mirror. I wish you had gotten some video of that Swan rig.
I wish I still lived in Kazoo so I could have gone. But it's a long drive from Colorado. Sigh.
I wish you would zoom in a little longer on the price tags so we can get an Idea what items
are selling for.
If it’s not too much trouble…

Great video. One thing I can't stand at hamfests, is sellers dont mark their stuff. And I hate always asking what it it, how much, does it work, etc
At 53:30 I bought a nano vna off of him! The style works!

I have a Courier in its place right now. May look for a low power AM CW rig to drive it
@@d-labelectronics I cant wait to see what you decide on.
What kind of ammo is that at 1:05:45?
Hemorriod meter - It's for checking Hemorriodal transformers... 🤣🤣
I see KC8TOD......I'm KC5TOD
Another great hogfest, lots of recycled junk. You can buy a Ft710 brand new with 3 year warranty for less than those boat anchors
I don’t like him. I’m waiting to go to salami fest😂
