EV ZLX-15p at work with a EV ETX-18sp sub!

Playing on this rig is great! ZLX are great for small to medium rooms and you can play big rooms if you optimize (eq) this top to play loud! The ETX 18sp is a monster sub end of story!!

I have this sub and honestly that single sub is enough because it is a close space. When using outdoors it changes everything. If there is no walls close by the sub then you def need a second one or even a third one. I have use it outdoors manny times i hate to clip my speaker and tbh there is no sound pressure at all on the sub part. Now i was thinking about getting a second one but this specific sub it will clip easily with our bass player slapping the bass guitar and that hurts me so much
Wheather i buy a second speaker sub it will still clipped both . Now this set pair of sub will def work for dj music but for a group band u will require 4 of this for outdoors which is were our gigs takes place.

I have the same tops but they keep popping the breaker on the power outlet. When I have them hooked up to my generator almost immediately my breaker trips but when I run my Matrix B52 I don't have any problems at all. Also these thing clip at low volume.

I have the zlx with the ekx sub. There are 2 ways to connect. 1. Xlr from controller to Zlx speaker. Then Zlx output to Sub using Xlr. Or 2. Plug controller to Sub. The go sub to speaker.

Yes. The sub has to inputs and 2 outputs.

Is an indoor party so the dj system with that single sub will be enough for that gig. Take a note that this sub doest really kick in your chest powerful but it does gives a great boom 60 ,70 heartz vive which will move lots of bass trough the whole indoor gig. Now a second sub will be better suited
