Desserts for me only appear when there's birthday parties.. if it's just a normal meal, the closest dessert we will get is either Peanut Chocolate or leftovers from the party(which cannot last long as it's also eaten as a snack lmao)
Dessert for me are fruits with probably just a bar of chocolate. A full on dessert are usually on special ocassions and celebrations. Guess its just mainly cultural thing since us asians are more accustomed to savory dishes.
@@lkmusc same for me. Every meal, fruit is considered a dessert for me. But like you said, big dessert meals are usually during a party or big occasional only. Coming from Asian background I am not allowed to eat sweets and in general due to some health issues. So my diet is very restricted.
"You overvalue yourself"
5 seconds later
"You underrate yourself"
Fr😂 it’s so annoying when he questions it😂 he’s like Gordon Ramsey, hes never consistent with his insults or compliments 😂
Eric: has 5 minutes to make a dish
Also Eric: so i made 10 different dishes, pretty easy
28:10 Loved how he complimented his dish in their native language. Just stunning thats when you know you winningz
20:53 that hug was so wholesome 😭
Baking: exists
Eric: And I took that personally
“The judges told me to slow down, but I think it’s just more efficient to sprint there” 😂😂😂
5:35 I always think that Kaila always wanted Eric to go home every single time.
Damn this 👁👄👁 girl
I KNO WHY SHE ALWAYS OPENIN HER RUES LIKE THAT LFMAOAO TRYNA GIVE PPL JUMPSCARES
Think again, Kaila.
Fr it annoying me ever clip its 😳
she wanted Eric to go home so bad🤦🏽♀️😒
Let’s not say that spread kind words
realising what eric's face looked like when the crab was revealed made me laugh so hard i nearly died
mans turned into a wholeass crab. damn.
I think Eric and Kaila have more things in common than they think. I mean one of them is that they both love cooking sea food (especially crustaceans). They also work fairly well together
“You copy our pasta, we copy your handbags” - Chef Alvin
I laughed so hard when he Said that
And good thing Joe was in the good mood at that time
How can Eric always have the same expression during different emotions.
Greatest emotional actor
And there is crab face
fr
😔
What an absolute beast! Dude is a world class chef and he's super humble
4:50 "since you guys copied our pasta we just copy your handbags" was such good line lmao
I don’t say this a lot, but Eric’s smile is contagious 😃
Mans had no idea how to cook or present smelts but came out on top because of his cooking knowledge and his improvisation skills, very impressive. I don't even know what smelts are beside the fact they're fish.
Eric is a humble person. Even when he cooks good he doesn't show it in his expression.
Eric: I'm bad at this I'm gonna lose 🙁
Judges: Delicious!
Eric: ☺️
No no no
Eric:😞
😂😂
For the baked Alaska scene Eric does the ultimate Eric face 😂
18:15 "I've never heard of it, never seen it, never tasted it, never cooked with it"
*smizelts it!*
Alvin may not be the sweetest guy, but we should realize he's harsh only because he wants the home cooks to excel!!!
I cooked with Eric 2 times in Beijing. I ended up just grabbing the ingredients and cleaning up afterwards. Watching the master at work. -Anthony
Eric is a culinary genius, I hope the kid goes far and I can't wait to see what he'll make of his future
He has a restaurant with Alvin now named RnD
@@ianaimon8286 Ohh that's grand, great to know he's in good hands and living out his dream
is it just me or does Eric have amazing facial expressions..
He has a 🙁 face but when he's happy you know he's happy
I love the dynamic between Eric and Alvin. Absolutely wonderful tidbit exchanges in Cantonese and Alvin constantly conveying what I think to be seeing himself when he was younger.
Eric always looks so worried when a judge takes a bite of his food, but after they say the like it he looks so happy
Thats what having a farther who never shows approval for what you do will do to you. Constantly worried for the next criticism and then is relieved when you get praise. (I don't know for sure but based off of the look on the fathers face and the fact that Eric said he was forced into engineering this would be my assumption)
@@DarthAxolotl Are you arguing with me ?
@@RyanvideosYT I don't think he was
@@DarthAxolotl 🥺 wahhhh so much awareness I'm so happy!!
@@RyanvideosYT 6 months late but no i wasnt arguing I was giving a theory to explain your observation.
Everything that Eric has cooked on MasterChef is a dish that I would gladly eat in a heartbeat
Eric is such a good chef. He deserves that win.
Joe likes Eric, because both of their fathers were strict on them lmao.
I rooted for Eric the whole season and was so happy he won!
I like how Eric just impersonated that crabs face 20:10
